So Gerty came back to us yesterday for a few hours. We got to play with her and she got to see all of her dog family she left here months ago. She is now staying with some friends of ours that have one of her litter mates Freya and an older sibling Gunther. She will have to get used to her new family and figure out her place in her new pack. It’s a little different than what she is used to as a trucker dog riding along side in the big rig. I’m sure she will miss Caitlin and the open road. Zeus still gets mad at me if I leave without him for work, but he is always waiting for me at the gate when I pull in the driveway. Sometimes things just happen regardless of best intentions. Thank you Caitlin Smith for reaching out to us, so we could assist you in finding her a suitable new family. Fred and Michelle are great doggy parents. You can rest assured they treat their pups like family members. I am sure everything will work out just fine for Gerty.
