🧡 Meet Bingo — our brave orange girl! 🧡

She is the epitome of an orange cat!

After undergoing emergency surgery for an intestinal obstruction, Bingo has made an incredible recovery and is officially ready to find her forever home!

Bingo is extremely affectionate and loves being close to her people. She’ll hop onto the bed for pets, cuddle up beside you, and curiously supervise whatever you’re doing. She’s also playful, incredibly athletic, and especially loves her chirping bird toy!

Bingo is good with dogs and is getting along better with her foster home’s resident cats every day. Because she survived outside, she can understandably be protective of her food and may need separate feeding space while she learns that she’ll never have to worry about her next meal again.

This sweet girl also has a spicy side and may occasionally give a little love bite. She needs an experienced cat owner who understands feline body language, respects her boundaries, and appreciates a cat with a big personality! A home with older children who can recognize when she wants affection and when she needs space would be the best fit.

Bingo has already overcome so much. Now she needs someone who will love every part of her—affectionate, spirited, curious, resilient, and completely unforgettable. 🐾

If Bingo sounds like your perfect match, please apply today—or share her post to help this special girl find her forever home! 🧡

🎶 MEET DOLLY REBECCA — OUR LITTLE BACKYARD SUPERSTAR! 🎶

Named after the one and only Dolly Rebecca Parton, this beautiful girl certainly knows how to make her voice heard! 🩷

On August 25, Dolly Rebecca was found yowling in a backyard, desperately asking for help. She was extremely thin and ravenously hungry—but thankfully, the right people heard her cries and brought her to safety.

Dolly Rebecca is approximately 6–8 months old with gorgeous gray-and-black tabby markings and the fluffiest tail. Despite everything she experienced outside, she is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and clearly ready for the indoor life. She also has an impressive set of lungs and isn’t afraid to use them when she has something to say! 😂🎤

She is now safe, receiving plenty of food and care, and beginning her journey toward a forever home. Dolly Rebecca will be fully vetted before adoption.

As Dolly Parton once said, “If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.” After weathering her own storm, this sweet little country girl is ready for her rainbow. 🌈🏡

Interested in giving Dolly Rebecca the loving future she deserves?

🦁💕 MEET SAROBI — READY TO SHARE HER PURRS! 💕🦁

Sarobi appeared in one of our volunteer’s neighborhoods heartbreakingly thin and desperately searching for help. She meowed at everyone who walked by, hoping someone would finally notice her—and thankfully, someone did. ❤️

Once Sarobi entered foster care, she was so relieved to be safe inside. She spent her first days catching up on much-needed sleep in a cozy bed and purring nonstop whenever she received pets. After struggling outside, she could finally relax knowing she was warm, fed, loved, and safe.

Sarobi is now spayed, vaccinated, and ready for the best chapter of her life: a forever family of her own! 🏡🐾

If you’re looking for a sweet girl who will fill your home with love and purrs, Sarobi may be the one for you.

💚 MEET ESPER: BEAUTIFUL, BOLD & COMPLETELY UNFORGETTABLE 💚

Esper’s story began when she appeared on the porch of an Animal Friends of Connecticut adopter in New Britain. It quickly became clear that Esper was pregnant. While we searched for an available foster, this kind woman kept her fed and even created a safe nesting box for her on the porch.

Esper delivered her babies before we could bring her inside—but on their second day of life, this little family entered foster care together. Esper proved to be a wonderful mama, and now that her babies are growing up, it’s finally her turn to be cared for. 🥹

Esper is clearly familiar with people, making us wonder if she once had a home of her own. She is friendly, affectionate, confident, and full of personality. She loves feather-wand toys, makes intense eye contact, and often stands, walks, or sits directly between her foster mom’s feet so she can remain at the center of everything. She can also be wonderfully vocal when she has something important to say!

Esper knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to communicate it—whether she’s requesting pets, dinner, or a little personal space. If you miss one of her instructions, she may offer a gentle reminder nip. It isn’t aggressive; she simply believes humans occasionally require additional training. 😂 Because of this, her adopter should appreciate a confident cat who communicates her boundaries.

She has done very well with the children in her foster home. We are still learning how she feels about other cats, so she may ultimately prefer being the only feline and the undisputed queen of her castle. 👑

And speaking of royal preferences: please do not insult Her Majesty with pâté. Fancy Feast Grilled and kibble are much more acceptable. Thank you. 😂

Esper is an affectionate, intelligent, playful girl with a commanding presence and so much love to give. She survived outside, raised her babies, and is ready for a forever home where she will never be left behind again.

Could Esper be your girl? Apply today—or please share her story so her person can find her! 💚🐾

🐈‍⬛ THREE MINI PANTHERS SEEKING FOREVER HOMES! 🐈‍⬛

Odysseus, Telemachus, and Tiresias are still waiting for their happily ever after! These three handsome brothers were born outside to a feral mama and brought safely indoors, where they’ve been learning that people can be pretty wonderful. ❤️

They can be shy when meeting someone new, but with a little patience, they come around—and their sweet personalities begin to shine! The smallest brother, with his beautiful baby-blue eyes, is especially quick to warm up. 💙

One thing they all agree on: other cats are the best! They love feline companionship and are always trying to sneak out of their foster room to play with the resident cats. 😹 Because they feel most confident with a kitty friend, each would thrive in a home with a friendly cat—or they could be adopted with a brother!

Black kittens are often overlooked, but these boys are affectionate, playful, and every bit as deserving of loving homes. Please help us find their people by sharing! 🏡🐾

💙 Sweet Boy is still waiting for his forever home. 💙

After being abandoned and left to survive outside, Sweet Boy spent far too long wondering where he belonged. Now safe in foster care, he has shown us exactly who he is: a gentle, affectionate lovebug who wants nothing more than a warm bed and a person to call his own.

Sweet Boy is about 2 years old and loves staying close to his people. His signature move is giving the sweetest little headbutts whenever he wants more attention—and it’s nearly impossible to resist him!

He is FIV+, but he is healthy and can still live a long, happy life. FIV+ cats can also safely live with other friendly cats when properly introduced.

Sweet Boy has already survived the hardest chapter of his life. Now he just needs someone willing to give him the happy ending he deserves. 💙

Please apply to adopt Sweet Boy or share his story so his forever family can find him! 🐾🏡

🥨 MEET PRETZEL — THE SWEETEST SURPRISE! 🥨

Pretzel was being fed by a kind neighbor in Hartford who has been working hard to get the neighborhood strays spayed and neutered. He was one of the last regular visitors still needing to be fixed.

Although Pretzel would come close to people, everyone believed he was probably too nervous to enjoy life indoors. But when it was time to release him after his neuter, he surprised us all—rolling around, nudging us, and asking for pets! 🥹❤️

We didn’t have room for him at the time, so his dedicated feeder continued watching over him. The moment space opened up, we knew we had to go back for this special boy.

Now safely inside, Pretzel has revealed his true personality: he’s a big ol’ lovebug who was simply waiting for someone to give him a chance. After surviving outside, he’s ready for a warm bed, endless affection, and a forever family of his own.

Could Pretzel be the missing piece in your home? Please apply to adopt or share his story so we can find his happily ever after! 🏡🐾
