Levi working on walking politely . Big focus tonight was pace changes while we walked. Slow, normal, and fast, and sudden stops. He should change speeds with me and stop when I stop. He’s doing great.

Our equine client, returning for another boarding stay.

I believe this dog is boarded with us more frequently than any other client dog. By now, he's become quite comfortable with the routine, often disembarking from the vehicle and spending the day hanging out with me.

We want to welcome “Boss” to our 2 week program. He’s a 6 month old belgian malinois.

Levi getting some training in during his walk. The walk for me isn’t just walking. I’m practicing stops where I expect the dog to auto-sit. I’m also doing random turns and expect the dog to stay aware of me enough to follow when I change direction.

I’m mixing up the pace from normal to fast to slow, and right now I’m repeating the command to signal that something is changing (“speed”). Lastly, I’m working on overall positioning. This is a functional heel with the dog staying at my side.

If any of this describes your dog and you’re ready to make a change, message us today!

• Pulling on the leash
• Jumping on people
• Excessive or uncontrollable barking
• Rushing doors, people, or cars

And so much more — we can help.

We currently have one Board & Train slot available for May and are now booking for June, July, and August.

Training with Krypto.

Krypto is my personal dog. He’s my Sport dog. He’s completes in PSA. (Protection Sports Association)

We trailed this weekend and where we did do well. We have ALOT of room for improvement.

One area that I’m lacking in is more training in highly distracting environments. No different than client dogs but I get caught up training client dogs that I often relax in thet area with my own dog.

Delta finally overcoming her fear of me and really starting to work with me.

Tomorrow we are going to Tractor Supply to train. Looking forward to seeing how she does!

The goal of going in public is for her to see people moving about in an obedient state where she’s more focused on me than other people.

I’m using obedience and known expectations to overcome her fear of others.

Check back tomorrow for an update!
