Myah is our yellow lab shes 3 and is pregnant unfortunately shes due around Christmas eve. Shes up to date on all shots. Timber is our chocolate lab shes 6 and is fixed shes very loyal obedient and loves kids.
Both pups are purebred labs, Animal Haven will assist in momma dogs spay after pups are born if needed.

Yesterday was a very emotional day at the rescue. Our spirited girl shadow crossed the rainbow bridge with the loving help of Dr Matt Didlake. Shadow has been a long term resident at the rescue, she was family. She had a full day of visitors and love from the Animal Haven rescuers. She was surrounded with love when her poppa came to take her home. It will be a rough couple days for us all, trying to get used to the void she has left. I'm blessed to have such a caring support team around me. Not only the people pictured, but the crucial network of dedicated supporters who have my back every step of the way. Shadow is with Lee now and I'm sure they are dancing together like they used to.

Today was surgery day for our 10 week old warrior. She came through like the champ she is and now that her leg is reset, she can start working on rebuilding trust with humans and learning how to be a puppy. For now her nurses are keeping a watchful eye over her. Watch our page for updates on her recovery and details of her future adoption.

Sweet warm Hennessey is a survivor. This baby was found abandoned behind a local liquor store in the rain. When rushed to the vet we found she had multiple breaks to a leg and will need surgery. Once she heals up we'll be looking for a loving home for this little wonder who has not lost her loving spirit despite the trauma she obviously has suffered. If you are interested in donating to Hennessey's care you can make a donation to Animal Haven or call Nehalem Animal Healing and put money toward her care.

I'm thanking my lucky stars 🌟 that I caught the witchy vibes to have the dead trees around the rescue taken care of this year.

The wind is howling and the cats and pups are on high alert ⚠️

Just days ago the wonderfull Jeff, and crew at Treescapes Northwest took care of 2 dead, and 2 potentially hazardous top heavy trees that threatened the house and our cat medical recovery room.

I'm so thankful to him for working with me on the price to keep it as low as possible and make sure everyone is safe.

This cat has appeared in a neighborhood in Rockaway, and the kind individuals who have been feeding him are wondering if anyone is missing him.

If he is not claimed, they would like to ensure he is safely cared for and properly situated before winter.

Does anyone recognize this beautiful cat? He may have a nearby home and could simply be exploring his usual surroundings.

Adoption Day!
Today, Spicy Boy is going home with Lynn and Orlo to receive the love and care he needs. I know these two are dedicated and compassionate cat owners who will provide a wonderful home for him.

While Spicy Boy will be greatly missed, we have eight other cats and kittens currently waiting for services Therefore, we need to proceed promptly.

Momma cat, Chai, has fully recovered from her spay procedure and is now available for adoption. She is calm, affectionate, and has unique markings—a beautiful combination of tabby and calico with striking green eyes.

Coming all the way from Lincoln city!
Momma and kitten dumped on the side of the busy road. Finders scooped up momma and baby and found another 4 more kittens with a deceased mother who had been struck by a car.

Rescuers were kind enough to take home and care for 4 smaller babies until we have enough kennel space available at the rescue to accommodate.

Chai and baby spice will be receiving medical care at Nehalem Animal Healing Center and will be here at the rescue for adoption.

The first night at a new place is always scary but we will do our best to make them feel welcome. They will be roommates with Purew, who came to us last week and has a pending appointment for adoption after her medical care is completed. ❤️
