Important News from Rudolph’s Pet Lodge
Highlights: Rudolph’s Pet Lodge will cease operations on April 8, 2024. Your reservation has been automatically forwarded to Ruff Country Lodge in Nebo if you have a booking with us after that date, so no need to panic. Your summer plans are safe! Read below for the rest of the important details.

Due to changes in ownership back in January, I’ve decided I just can’t run this by myself. While I am proud of what we have accomplished in the last 3+ months running this alone, I’m needing to make a change in my life and move on with some other endeavors.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU…
I’ve been searching out the best solution to this problem and found something I think most of my clients will appreciate. Back in February, when I was vetting potential options, I started talking to the great owners of Ruff Country Lodge, Micah and Alisha Kelly. They were getting ready to expand their operation. This awesome family is poised for great things and growth of the business! They agreed to take ALL EXISTING CLIENTS and ALL EXISTING BOOKINGS I’ve got currently on the books. And to make this even more seamless, they’re using the same kennel management software we use, so those of you familiar with our system won’t need to learn anything new! They’re also honoring my rates thru July 31 for all existing reservations I have on my books.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO:
Absolutely nothing. If your reservation is after 4/8/2024, Your reservation will be automatically transferred to Ruff Country located at 2175 Balls Hill Road, Nebo, KY 42441. You’ll just need to drop off at their facility instead of ours. They will have your vaccine information on file as well, so if it was good on our end, it will be good for them as well. Be on the lookout for a confirmation email from them in the next day or two with your reservation details.
I HAVE A RESERVATION THAT OVERLAPS YOUR CLOSING DATE. WHAT DO I DO?
For those of you who have stays overlapping our closing date of 4/8, DON’T PANIC. You will still drop off at your already scheduled drop off and pickup here at my facility on 4H Camp Drive in Dawson. I will be fully equipped to handle those guests until pickup after the 8th.

Seriously, the outpouring support I have seen these past few months has been remarkable. Thank you for everyone reaching out to me. Thank you for continuing to trust me with your fur babies as we weathered a few storms. It is very important to me you have a seamless transition to Ruff Country should you choose to give them an opportunity to serve you. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed…they have the same care and compassion that I do for your fur babies and will go above and beyond to exceed your expectations.
If you can, give us a chance to start the migration before you call us. I know there will be some questions, but Ruff Country and Rudolph’s Pet Lodge will be busy with this migration for the next day or two. My goal is to make this as seamless and painless for my clients. You’ve taken care of me, now it’s time I do the same for you.
