My name is Sherlock Holmes! 😁 I am a 14-week-old hound mix puppy, with long, velvety ears and a HUGE heart! ❤️ Rescued as a stray, I’m now in a wonderful foster home with a doggie foster sister and ready to find my forever family! I’m a happy, active boy who loves everyone I meet. 🥰 I’m an inquisitive, playful pup who is super smart and a quick learner. I’ve already learned SIT, DOWN and SHAKE, plus I know how to walk on a leash, am crate trained and almost potty trained! I’m a very sweet boy whose favorite things to do are chewing and exploring the yard. 🏡 My perfect forever home would be an active one, ready for puppy raising and committed to my puppy training. And ideally, it would have a fenced yard for me ‘coz I have lots of puppy energy and LOVE to run and do zoomies … and explore the yard with my cute hound nose! 🩵🐶

🩷*FEATURED PUPDATE: BETTY*🩷

Betty (pictured: grey dog) was adopted in July 2021 as a foster fail! 🤍 Her forever family sent us an awesome pupdate, along with her results from her DNA test! 😃

“Way back in 2021 when Betty moved in, Agape said that she was half husky half chihuahua. No one I've told has ever believed that, so I finally did her DNA test and got the results! The biggest surprise may be that the husky/chihuahua story is mostly true, but she's got a handful of other surprising breeds in there too! The labrador retriever, in particular, has surprised a lot of people! I actually had a breed reveal party for Lizzie (Betty’s sister — lighter dog in pics) and Betty this weekend! I had everyone play a little guessing game to predict what breeds they thought each dog was going to be and they both loved being the center of attention, while everyone looked them over to come up with their guesses.

It was funny clicking through the results on Embark because they give you a little background info on each breed. Half of Betty’s read, "this breed was bred to do hard grueling work in the tundra" and half read, "this breed sat on the laps of monarchs." I think we all know which side of the family's personality Betty inherited!

The most exciting update for Betty is probably that last fall she and Lizzie came on a road trip with my dad and I through Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, and Kansas. They got to meet some of my extended family and we discovered that Betty finds donkeys terrifying. But they’re both great travelers and love seeing new places!”

HEY YOU GUYS! 😁 I'm Sherlock Holmes, a 13-week-old Plott Hound mix puppy with velvety ears and a HUGE heart! 🤍*FOSTER NEEDED*🤍 * FOSTER NEEDED! This puppy was found as a stray and subsequently abandoned at one of our vet partners by the finder. The vet staff has done everything they can and his stray hold is up. The vet hospital does not have a boarding facility and cannot keep this puppy much longer. He is scared and currently sitting in a kennel. We want to accept this puppy into our program, but to do that we urgently need a committed foster! Help us keep this puppy out of the shelter!
