Hey everyone, another update with some highs and lows.

Sad news first—we lost our little belted bull calf. He was found yesterday morning, having gotten stuck in the fence during the night and apparently broke his neck. We had last seen him alive and well at 7 PM the night before during our last cow check, and Ben found him at 7 AM the following morning. This is a first for us, and it's heartbreaking, especially since he was so unique.💔
On a brighter, more encouraging, note, we've had two new calves born since the last update-one bull and one heifer, both doing great!

*Red* gave us the most beautiful heifer calf, and we are completely smitten! I think we're going to call her Fallon— what do you think?

*Dixie* had a little bull calf. He's tiny, just like her, with a gorgeous deep, rich coat color. We're excited to see what his DNA results reveal! We need an "F" name for this fella, or maybe that she be his name?😂
