We are rescued Pomeranians, Monti and Finn. Monti was saved from a puppy mill in Monticello, Kentucky while Finn was pulled from a hoarding situation in Cool Springs, Tennessee. We advocate for mistreated/neglected animals!

One year ago, Finn graduated to Heaven. 🌈 In some ways, it’s been the longest year. It has also felt like the year flew by.

When we were chosen for our legacy portraiture session last February, I didn’t know it would be our final professional photoshoot. I received our edited photos back the day before Finn passed, and these canvases a few weeks later. I didn’t have the heart to open the boxes until a few weeks ago. 😭

One of the things I’m most proud of is our work in pet therapy. As a registered therapy dog team, we dedicated over eight years to our CARE mission, sharing Compassion, Affection, (stress and comic) Relief and Encouragement in varying environments, including hospitals, colleges and juvenile court.

The weather was absolutely GORGEOUS this past weekend!!!! I tried my best to be present in reconnecting with nature, but couldn’t shake the looming sadness. Monti and Finn LOVED our Farmer’s Market outings so I found myself visiting two. It’s still strange going to dog-friendly events without pushing their stroller. 😭 Getting to see My Cluck Hut, Good Boy Biscuit Co., Get Pet Pics, took the sting out of the deep grief I’m still feeling. It also brightened my day taking home the most vibrant floral arrangement I saw. Grateful for this community. Finding Strength Of Heart

When your son’s Gotcha Day, the day he passed AND Mother’s Day are all in May, you brace yourself for an emotional roller coaster of a month. Then the FINNomenal dog/pawrent community showers you with so much LOVE!!!! 🥹

Finn’s favorite annual event was the Pawster Doggie Drag Show. This year’s event happened on his Gotcha Day, May 8. 🦋and 🌈 in different forms, and the powerful angel number 5️⃣5️⃣5️⃣ showed up throughout the day!! It’s been a bittersweet first week of May but between the Nashville Pom Stars meetup, Doggie Drag Show, getting to love on 9️⃣ of my Nashville Dog Nanny regulars, I’m grateful to keep finding ways to celebrate Finn and his brothers. How fitting that I get to share this on National Puppy Day!! 🐾 I’m changing out a few frames and had been looking for a vintage Victorian style frame. I found the one with the two 💛s last week and thought Pawfect!! I’ll put BENJI’s photo on the left and Monti with Finn’s on the right.

Here’s where things get wild. Not even a week later, I found ANOTHER frame with the same exact yellow and swirly pattern!!!! FB Marketplace for the win!!

What are the odds that two separate frames from two different sellers would both find new homes with me?! 🤯 I’d like to think this is their way of assuring me they’re doing more than ok at the Rainbow Bridge. 🥹 To my forever puppies: BENJI, Monti and Finn, mommy loves you forever!!!! ♥️ 🪽 💚 🦋 💙
