Did you know more pets go missing around the 4th of July than any other time of the year? Loud fireworks can be frightening for dogs and cats, causing even normally calm pets to panic, jump fences, slip out doors, or break free from collars and harnesses. No one plans to lose their pet, but a microchip dramatically increases the chances of a happy reunion if the unexpected happens.
Join us THIS Saturday, June 27 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. for our Vaccination & Microchip Clinic at Williamson County Animal Center. Thanks to generous support from Friends of Williamson County Animal Center, microchips will be FREE for dogs and cats during this clinic only. All residents are welcome, including those who live outside Williamson County.
In addition to free microchipping, rabies vaccinations are available for just $10 each. A collar tag and vaccination certificate are included as proof of vaccination. Please note that cash or check only is accepted for vaccination services.
We're also excited to share that thanks to Petco Love's Vaccinated & Loved initiative, Canine DAPPv and Feline HCP vaccinations are now available during our clinics at no additional cost. Keeping your pet up to date on basic vaccinations is one of the simplest and most effective ways to help them live a long, healthy life.
No appointment is necessary, but online pre-registration is mandatory to help expedite guests as quickly as possible. Please scan the QR code on the graphic to register your pet before arriving. Guests who arrive without pre-registering will be asked to move to the end of the line while registration is completed. For everyone's safety, all pets must arrive on a leash or in a secure carrier and will not be permitted to enter the clinic without one.
