Nanci was always ahead of the game when it came to new or ecclectic artists. Here is a link to one of her favorites, Eva Cassidy singing Imagine. If the room was ever quiet, Nanci would always think of something outrageous to say (and say it loudly), or create some sort of disturbance to liven things up. Here she is with here neice, Caroline and newphew, Danny, whipping it up on Thanksgiving.

The Benefit for Nanci will be held at Spain Restaurant, 1144 Ocean Road, Narragansett, RI. SAME DATE, SAME TIME!

Thank you to Bob Leonard, co-owner of the Coast Guard House, and his wife, Elisa Wybraniec for making this happen while dealing with so much loss and sadness on their end. Thank you also to Spain's - for making their restaurant available on such short notice.

Most of you know that the Coast Guard House suffered enormous damage from Hurricane Sandy. Certainly our thoughts are with those whose lives and livelihoods are affected by this terrible event.

Please also know that Nanci's friends are working hard to find another venue for November 14th. We will keep you posted when we find out details.

There will be a cash bar at Nanci's benefit on November 14th!

When Nanci ordered a martini it was really more like a set of instructions than it was a request: "Vodka, something from the top shelf - like Grey Goose, not the cheap stuff. Make it extra dry, and be sure you bring lots of ice on the side."
