Rotary Club of Nampa participates in numerous international and local service projects including the annual "Golf for Hope" and "Paws for a Cause" fundraisers, the Dictionary Project and Backpacks for Kids Project. Local groups and charities find hope through the efforts of Nampa Rotarians to raise funds and awareness. Nampa Rotary's biggest fundraiser has been the Golf for Hope Tournament raising

approximately 15,000 to 20,000 annually to benefit youth organizations such as:
Hope House
Boys and Girls Club of Nampa
Big Brothers Big Sisters
The Mentoring Network
and More!

It's a wrap! We completed our month-long food drive for the Boise Rescue Mission Ministries' March to End Hunger campaign. Thank you to Treasure Valley Subaru for joining us!

At today's meeting, we also heard from Lt. Brad Childers ofn the Nampa Police Department. He gave a great presentation on the tools being used at NPD, the K-9 unit and crime prevention efforts. Thank you keeping our community safe.

We are excited to partner with the Boise Rescue Mission Ministries to gather food & hygiene items as part of the annual March for Hunger. You can help us win the "can castle" competition by making a donation at the Nampa Idaho Small Business Development Center, 5465 E. Terra Linda Drive, Treasure Valley Subaru and Rock and Armor Physical Therapy and Sports Performance, LLC in Nampa. Deadline is 3/31. We’re working on something that’s actually moving the needle locally — want to see it?

This week our Rotary club packed 150 breakfast kits for the The Salvation Army.

One gentleman said, “This means I won’t have to look through the trash for something to eat.”

Food is more than calories. When people have enough nutrition, brain function improves. Decision-making gets clearer. Stress decreases. A simple breakfast can change the trajectory of a day.

We had a great time assembling kits for Foster Grandparents to use when working with kids in Nampa Schools. The kits included reading materials, writing supplies, educational games and other activities.
