Amy is doing such a great job setting up speakers! This week we had the cheese factory (Lactalis) and got hefty samples! They take in 80 trucks of milk a day and of their 800 million dollar budget, 610 million gets circulated into our local area per year. 85% of the milk they turn into mozzarella comes from Treasure Valley dairy farms.

Did you know the Amalgamated Sugar Company AKA "The sugar beet factory" has cut their greenhouse gas emissions down by almost 50% in the last 2 decades. They've completely stoped using coal! That mean healthier air that all Nampa residents are breathing! We had a great presentation with their Regional Environmental Manager today, thanks Kyle Bair!

Awesome meeting today with the USS Idaho Commissioning Committee. Last week we created laundry kits for seniors, families, and individuals who utilize the resource center at the Idaho Hispanic Community Center.

Rotary has a new member-- Bobbi Wood!! Also, excellent day at the Traveling Table yesterday. It's the 4th Wednesday each month. We meet at 9:45 at 309 9th Ave N, Nampa, ID 83687 to create variety boxes and hand out food to families in need. Then at noon we move to 3rd St. N. and Johnson Dr.

Way to go civic clubs of Nampa!! We helped raise about $85,000 for the Salvation Army! We didn't come on first place this year but we were close!! of the Bell!

We learned about the history of the building and murals, updates to the facility, and programming now and in the future. We are proud of Mari Ramos of the Idaho Hispanic Foundation and Mike Ybarguen of Idaho Power for the shout out they received from Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling during her State of the City Address hosted by the Nampa Chamber of Commerce. The mayor also acknowledged the great work of our community civic organizations!
