Biography: Chris Matthews was born into a family of hunters. Chris has many trophies himself and knows the importance of preserving the memory for a lifetime with a quality piece. Chris has always had a love of taxidermy mounting his first bird as a child through instructions from a book. In Chris's teenage years he began going to shows where he could be critiqued by the best. s met up with some Master Taxidermist who took him under their wings and taught him what he knows today. Chris now has 25 years of experience, his National Award of Excellence, State Master Awards, many Masters Division Best of Catagory Awards, along with numerous Masters Division First Place Ribbons.
