Little Styrofoam has been eating, drinking , playing and living her best life.

Suddenly, an hour ago, she started throwing up her kitten formula and wet kitten food.

This is what all rescuers fear: A baby they've given their heart to getting sick. It happens far too often with fragile orphaned kittens.

It's going to be a long night. I will be up with her, doing my best to keep her healthy.

Please send baby Styrofoam your prayers and happy thoughts.

Bella met the new kitten today:

Bella wagged her tail.

The kitten hissed and pawed at her muzzle. It was the cutest baby hiss ever! And, that tiny paw held up beside a whisker was adorable!

It was a perfectly normal reaction from a baby kitten who was feral two days ago. I got the same hiss and raised paw when she met me.

Now, she meows for me to make her a gruel of kitten formula and wet kitten food every two hours.

Then, Bella and the kitten shared a blanket. It was a successful introduction!

The kitten needs to grow up a bit, before she can be left alone with Bella. Bella is a big girl!

We are hoping that our new baby is healthy and grows up to be a loving, sweet cat.

Her health is looking good! She immediately reached a few milestones:

1. She drinks kitten formula from a bowl.

2. She eats pate kitten food from a saucer.

3. She goes potty in a litter box.

She needs feeding every two hours round the clock, and we have to turn on her heating pad every two hours. So far, so good!

Adoption Event in Center, Texas!

David Nix, Eedan Brown, Ella, and Zane are set up at the Center, Texas Tractor Supply from 10-2 today. Come on out, and meet our adoptable kittens!

All cats are spayed or neutered, and the adoption fee is $40.00.

Yesterday, ahead of cooler weather, we took in this baby. She was alone in a wooded area, with no other cats nearby.
