Aquatic Solutions is going to have to shut down for the time being, I cannot risk getting sick and I won't risk my help's health either. We will be calling clients with tips to keep their own tanks running during the shut down, please keep traffic in and out of your house to a minimum ❤️ I've had several people I know affected by this virus already and I don't want to see anyone else have to go through it. Let's support each other as much as possible during these hard times, be there for older members and immune comprised people, leave a few bottles of cleaner and toilet paper on the shelf. These are not times to be selfish. Love my whole valley, please please be careful and take care.

Love this tank, mascara barbs have spawned twice, the babies look so close to the tiger barbs we have to wait until they are a couple months old to see the difference ❤️

Happy New Year to all! We are starting the year off with an overbooked schedule and happy fins! Busy busy busy, er...... swim swim 😉. Check out this baby Mola :). I had no idea they were covered in spines as youngsters, but if you want to be one of the biggest fish you've got to be well protected at youth right.

Fish Depression Is Not a Joke

This is why we are always changing it up and making sure fish have an active environment, plenty of swimming space, and caves/decor to explore and interact with.

Fish can get depressed, just like you, and that could make them a good model organism for studying depression in people.

A week and a half ago this tank had a major equipment failure (it's a very old system drilled on the bottom). We had to do a complete tear down, and start from scratch, the fish lived in a temporary tank on the floor while new piping, bulkheads, pumps and all minor components were ordered and put back together. Finally got to put the fish back in today. They were so happy to be home and I'm happy the saga is over 😁🐠🐟🐡😊

He's just lovely, the kiddos all adore this new addition at Yakima Pediatics. It amazes me how curious the wee people are about the fish, they ask sooooooo many questions, I love it!!

I know it's early.......... but Christmas season started in the Yakima Grace of Christ Church :). The staff is just as excited as the students about the holiday season. This is truly a beautiful church, filled with the nicest people. I enjoy every visit here.

Found someone we thought we'd never see again. Kuhli loaches should always be kept in groups (we try to keep a minimum of 3, but a group of 6 or more is especially entertaining), alone they just hide and never get to "play" with their school friends :).
