Our Goldens live indoors with us, enjoying plenty of attention, affection, and a relaxed, country lifestyle. Our puppies are born and lovingly raised in our home, not kennels, ensuring they receive intentional care from day one. Starting litter box training at just 3 weeks old, pups experience gentle handling and exposure to various sounds and textures daily. By 4 weeks, they're weaning onto dry puppy food supplemented with daily probiotics, and at 6 weeks, they receive core vaccinations and thorough vet health checks, preparing them for their forever homes at 8 weeks. My passion for exceptional canine care drives a dedication to ongoing education, ensuring every puppy receives a strong foundation in health, happiness, and love. With a Bachelor of Science in Canine Science and associate degrees in Veterinary Assisting and Pharmacy Technology, I have established a solid academic background in animal health. To deepen my expertise, I continually pursue advanced training and certifications from respected institutions worldwide, covering areas such as animal welfare, genetics, vaccination protocols, and infectious disease management. I am also proudly Elite Fear Free Certified, an AAHA-certified microchipping specialist, and a member of IAABC, committed to stress-free experiences and scientifically informed behavior training. Continuous education allows me to prioritize the health and well-being of each puppy, support families with expert guidance, and foster excellence through a breeding program grounded in compassion, integrity, and respect for Golden Retrievers. If you’re new here then welcome! I thought it would be a good time to share a little about who we are, what we do, and what matters most at Sun & Sand Goldens.

🏡 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭
Our Golden Retrievers are part of our home and our daily life. They aren’t just “breeding dogs” they’re beloved family members who share our couches, our yard, and our hearts. Puppies are raised right here in our home, surrounded by love and early socialization so they grow into confident, well-adjusted companions.

🩺 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 & 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞
Every dog here receives routine veterinary care, vaccinations, microchipping, and heartworm prevention. I’m qualified to handle much of their care myself, ensuring everything is done safely and with the least stress possible. My focus is always on raising healthy, happy dogs who are ready for a lifetime of love.

🐶 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲
Each litter is planned with purpose and for health, temperament, and the classic Golden Retriever personality we all adore. I evaluate each dog carefully before breeding and pair them to complement one another in both structure and temperament.
