I know I haven’t been posting as much lately, I promise I haven’t forgotten about you all! 😊 I’ve just had my head buried in my Veterinary Technician college work, trying to get as much done as possible before Gypsy’s puppies arrive.

Once those sweet babies are here, my focus will shift completely to Gypsy and her little ones, making sure mama and pups get all the love and care they deserve.

Thank you all so much for being patient and supportive, it really means the world to me. I can’t wait to share puppy updates soon!

🐾 Looking for a Loving Home 🐾

Meet Zoey, a beautiful 3-year-old English Springer Spaniel who’s ready to find her forever family. Zoey is spayed, fully vaccinated, house-trained, and has been very well cared for.

Her current family adores her deeply, but due to personal circumstances, they’re seeking the perfect home where Zoey will continue to receive the same love and attention she’s used to.

Zoey is a friendly, affectionate, and loyal companion. She enjoys being part of a family, loves her people, and has a gentle, playful spirit. Spaniels are known for their intelligence and devotion, and Zoey is no exception, she’ll make a wonderful addition to the right home.

If you or someone you know may be interested in giving this sweet girl a loving home, please reach out to Sun And Sand Goldens for more details.

Let’s help Zoey find her happily ever after! 💗🐶

Catch the Calm: Creating a Calm Dog

Can you really create a calm puppy or dog? Absolutely, with patience, awareness, and consistency.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how to help others teach their dogs to find calmness in everyday life. The key lies in recognizing and rewarding those peaceful moments.

When you see your dog resting quietly beside you or sitting patiently, catch the calm.
In our home, I use the marker word “yes” to acknowledge that calm behavior. I probably say it a thousand times a day while raising and training puppies! That small moment of positive attention helps them understand that calm is a good thing.

If your dog tends to be on the energetic side, this practice is even more valuable. Watch for calmness, even if it’s fleeting, and mark it with a “yes,” a click, or a gentle reward.

Let’s start a movement together: Catch the Calm.
A calm dog doesn’t happen overnight, but with steady guidance, they learn to find peace, and life becomes calmer, happier, and more enjoyable for both of you.

Just Gypsy being Gypsy, running, rolling, and soaking in a beautiful day. 🌿
Only a month left until she becomes a mom again, but her joyful heart never changes. 💛

You can see it in his eyes, the way he senses my emotions without a word spoken.
As my heart lifted, his expression softened. That’s the gift of a Golden: their empathy runs deep.
Forever thankful for the love and peace my dogs bring. 💛🐾

💙 Ethan’s Recovery Update! 💙

Our handsome boy Ethan was neutered on October 6, 2025, and he’s been doing absolutely amazing! Despite needing to take it easy, he’s been his usual bouncy, goofy self, full of energy and life, as if nothing ever happened. 😄🐾

To help him rest and recover properly, Ethan has been enjoying some well-deserved peace and quiet by himself in my room, where he can relax without the temptation to overdo it. He’s loving the extra attention and comfort!

We’re looking forward to his recheck with the vet on October 21st, and we have no doubt he’ll get a glowing report. Keep being your silly, lovable self, sweet Ethan!
