Research conducted in the Stern Lab by lead author Dr. Victor N. Rivas, DVM student and Ph.D. graduate at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, has led to the discovery of the first genetic mutation associated with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and sudden death in golden retrievers. The work could lead to increased early detection and disease prevention for the breed while further shaping our understanding of the disease in humans.

Our Girls have all of their age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, perfect veterinary health examinations, dewclaw removals, they are doing excellent with their potty training via, our doggie door and crate training has gone smoothly. Our girls will be adopted with a hip and health guarantees. Both of their parents, Reagan and RC are fully health certified for their Hips, Elbows, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Dentition and extensive genetic testing through PawPrint Genetics/OriVet.
