We are taking some maternity photos today and the photographer requested we bring a gypsy for our photos… who am I to argue with that 😜 Apollo is the easiest to clean annnd well also possibly my favorite, just shh dont tell the others. So he got a quick rinse off and brush down and of course I had to take a few cellphone pics before he went and rolled 🤣

The newest member of the farm made her arrival this afternoon from MA. I am already absolutely smitten with her. Nautilus Lucy Lu is a coming 2 yr old GVHS filly, and as sweet as she is gorgeous. I’m so excited for her future here ❤️

4th day of working on how to lead, 1st day to load in a trailer. This was only our 4th attempt at loading her. I am loving the mind on my Apollo babies. Taylor is having to do all the heavy lifting and work with her since I’m preggo and I’m super pleased with how smoothly it’s gone with her. I’m going to be sad to see this filly go in a couple of weeks!

I have some petting zoo friendly animals available to pet/ breeding homes.

1- male coming 3 yr old Kune Kune, not registered, intact. Bottle raised inside, lives outside now, but I will be very picky to make sure he goes to a home where he isn’t butchered. Pet or possible breeding home only.
1- female coming 3 yr old KuneKune, not registered. Very friendly and easy to handle.
2- male mini silkie fainting goats - both 2-3 years of age. One is registered. Both intact if breeding is your goal. Both extremely friendly, quiet and easy to get a long with. Both need groomed or shaved terribly.

They all get along great with all breeds of animals. Very affordable to good homes that have more time to spend with them than I do.

Glad to see Apollo’s feather on his shaved / previously injured leg is starting to grow back pretty quickly. He’s had another prostride treatment and some shoes put on and I’m super pleased with how well he’s healed. Not perfect, but his vet thinks we can maintain this level of soundness with just one treatment a year and think it’s possible he may be sound enough to ride again at some point in the future 🥰

I am going to open up his stud books for 2025, but he will be ai only for the 2025 year. I will honor his previously booked (deposit already paid) live cover appts.

We were able to get the new pasture fenced off this weekend, it took a few days to convince these guys it was okay to leave the barn, but now, I think they’re absolutely loving it.

Baby Aro sure is growing up! I’m not sure I ever made the announcement that this little cutie is going to be retained as a future show and stallion prospect for the farm. He’s already a farm and family favorite. He’s so easy to get along with and completely full of fun personality just like his sire.

His color and genetics testing came in today and was just as expected. ee aa n/Cr n/TO Pssm1 + FIS negative.
