It’s getting cold! Keep your babies extra warm.

I have 3 ounces of ENGLISH ANGORA 2nds and short pieces from prime and skirt wool for NEST MATERIAL ONLY! This is not suitable for crafting. It ranges from 1/8th of an inch to 1 inch max. Came from a broken so it’s mostly white.

$10 plus shipping (I can flatten the air out and get it in an envelope for you).

These boujie bunnies scored top accommodations tonight. We had a lovely clerk that checked us in and was so very kind. It’s supposed to rain tonight and it’s warmer here than predicted. They are all happy to be in the AC

I sold one and have two transports with me. I wasn’t even tempted this year 🙂 (though I do always look at the raffle animals for the youth auction)

Now that convention WSG competition is over, I also want to share probably the most labor intensive piece I’ve done.

76% chestnut French angora from bunnies I’ve bred and raised.
12% Shetland sheep
12% alpaca

1200 yards of yarn I spun.

Approximately 60 hours of crocheting

Pattern is Sabrina Ruana by Anastasia Smith

Dyed with jaquard acid dye.

I didn’t take a lot of photos. And it was a really long day. But overall I’m happy with how everyone placed.

English angora.

Cypress placed 5th out of 10 senior bucks (my highest placement at convention yet!)

French angora

Atlas 3rd of 7. (One place higher than his mama did my first year with French 🙂 )
Aether 4th out of 8
Hemera 5th out of 9

Orion placed 2nd in his class with his new owner Paige.

Overall I’m really happy with all of my animals and how my lines are progressing. 4 years with English Angora, 2 1/2 years with French angora and 3 years with Argente Bruns. I’m so blessed to have the animals I have. Onward with the broken English angora project, my brun project, and making the best French I can 🙂

Also. Atlas was over my shenanigans and now I wish I had brought my wheel so I could just spin his coat off.

The princess is ready as she can be. It’s so dry here. All the angoras look like they stuck their toe in a light socket 🤣🤣🤣

Rock springs Wyoming wakes up a little later than we do. Hemera is not happy she has to go back in the truck yet again. We will arrive in Reno today!!!
