Hey everyone!! Many apologies for the lack of updates! Between the holidays, horses, truck issues, and back to school - we have been BUSY 😅

For those waiting for Storm babies 💜 We are still (I wish I could say patiently) waiting for Storms heat cycle. We have an upcoming vet appointment for her just to be sure everything is A.O.K. since this is her second cycle that has been a bit delayed.

Our plans remain the same and (as long as our girl is 100%) we still plan to share Storm babies with you all this Spring. She’s just making us wait a tad longer 💜

Give her butt scratches and she’ll let you in, rob the house, murder us, do whatever you’d like, just leave her bed 😂

Nobody should be walking their dog in the heat of the afternoon over the next three days.

Walk them in the morning or evening instead. It will be safer for your dog's paws.

We’re very sad to announce that yesterday Ms Rhea, the matriarch and foundation of Silver Spruce Shepherds, passed away unexpectedly.

Rhea was beautiful, smart, loving, fierce when she needed to be, adored her people, was the most vocal dog I’ve ever owned, and the best mom to her puppies.

We are so grateful for the litters that she produced for us, for the beautiful dogs that wonderful people have because of her, and we are extremely grateful to have Echo to continue to carry on her and her line (he is so much like his mom).

Today also would’ve been Rhea’s birthday so, while we mourn the loss, we also celebrate her life and all that she gave us.

Please say a prayer for our family as so many loved her, especially our nephew who has given Rhea the best retirement we could’ve asked for 💜
