Happy Exotic Monday Everyone!! We have some amazing news! Our one hatchling we didn’t think would make it has shown some incredible progress. So their story is that unfortunately their mom mushu didn’t lay proper eggs. Her eggs were calcified and bumpy looking. When the eggs got close to hatching instead of expanding with the babies they started to tear and leak the egg white inside. Thankfully I was able to patch their egg long enough for them to be ready to hatch. unfortunately when their sibling tried to hatch they got stuck in the egg due to it being harder than normal. They did not make it. After knowing this I assisted the other hatchling out of their egg. They struggled to breath properly for 10-15 minutes then finally started to breath normally. It wasn’t until 3 days ago did they finally have their first shed after being out of their egg for 2 weeks. Their shed was also the first thing they had eaten as well. Thankfully last night when I offered food, instead of them rubbing it off they finally ate on their own!!! They are showing some great progress and I hope they continue to fight and grow. They are a little miracle.

Happy Exotic Monday Everyone! Sorry I’ve been a bit absent lately. Went on vacation and needed some rest before getting back into the weekly posts. Super excited because we have a new male joining our family! Super excited about him and going to get a Superdal Female in the future for some dal babies!
