Public service announcement:
If you are planning to have your cats spayed and neutered, call NOW to get on your vet's schedule. Surgery schedules are usually a bit scheduled out, so you will want to get your spot reserved. Alot of cats are now in heat, which means babies soon! A cat, both male and female can reach reproductive maturity at 4.5 MONTHS of age!

Our office has had several calls in the past 2 weeks about this dog running loose around the Mapleleaf Drive area and we are unable to get close enough to it to catch it. If anyone knows who's dog this belongs to please call our office 319-385-1450.

This sweet orange boy was brought in from T.H.E. Company off of W. Washington St. yesterday. He is not neutered and does not have a microchip. He is very sweet! We’ve nicknamed him O’Malley the Alley Cat for the time being!

Update: he is now at Noah's Ark in Fairfield. Black Panther is still patiently waiting on his furever home, although he seems to be loosing hope. He was turned in the end of May 2024 for doing what cats do, hunting birds. He has been stuck inside since then after being arrested for doing natural cat things. Poor guy. He just wants someone to love and someone to love him back. He loves being around people. Dr. Schinstock let's him roam the clinic while she can, but he wants his own place. If she is busy with managerial duties, he hangs out with her. If she is doing surgery, he sits on the table outside the closed surgery room amd waits for her to get done, just so he can be around someone. He also talks. Dr. Schinstock would take him home, but she has her own herd of cats already, and he seems to prefer not to have other cats around. Fine with dogs. Please share! He's a very low maintenance kinda guy!
