Snowmobile Trails Update:

With snow in the forecast, we know you're wondering: will the snowmobile trails reopen?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. The 2025–2026 snowmobile season has officially closed. Many trails have no remaining base and with open water across the county, it's not safe or feasible to reopen for the season.

We know how much snowmobiling fuels our communities here in Oconto County and look forward to next winter.

He has been given the name Foxy. A member of NOAH’S ARK has taken over custody of him. They are getting him some care and moving forward from there. If you are interested in helping with Foxy or other things NOAH does for the animals here is a link to their FB page.
