We’re excited to share that our reining horses are making the move to Whitesboro, Texas, where they’ll be in training with Vinchinzo Santos of ISlide Performance Horses. This move puts them in a top-tier program focused on developing confident, correct, and competitive reining horses. We’re proud of this next step and can’t wait to see how these horses progress in such an incredible environment. Thank you iSlide Performance Horses for all your dedication and hard work with our horses, we appreciate you deeply!❤️

iSlide Performance Horses is heading to Whitesboro, Texas with the New Year.

This move represents an exciting new chapter filled with growth, challenges, and opportunity — and I couldn’t be more thankful for the people who have helped make it possible.

To my customers and industry professionals who are continuing this journey with me: your trust and support mean more than I can put into words. I’m incredibly excited for what lies ahead and for the chance to keep building, competing, and chasing goals together.

To the customers, friends, and professionals in North Carolina — thank you. The relationships, lessons, and memories made here will always be a meaningful part of iSlide Performance Horses.

A special thank you to Hillcrest Farms and the Coats Family for being a wonderful home to iSlide since 2020. So many milestones were reached, goals accomplished, and memories made that I’ll always be grateful for.

As we get settled in North Texas, we’ll have some very nice horses available. If you’re in the area — or planning to be — feel free to reach out. I’d love to connect and talk horses.

One of our favorite sires!

Dear Friends,
As breeding season approaches, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who continues to believe in and breed to Shining Spark.

With a new generation of “Shiners” now in full swing, I’ve been watching the futurities closely and truly enjoy seeing his offspring so well represented across all Western disciplines—cow horse, roping, reining, ranch riding alike. It’s remarkable to witness the continued versatility and consistency of a horse that has already given so much to our industry.

Shining Spark has been fortunate to receive a second opportunity to help make people’s dreams come true as a sire. As many know, circumstances beyond our control can quickly limit a great horse’s breeding career, and Shiner’s illness certainly did that for many years. Thanks to advances in technology and the ICSI process, we have been able to breed him more than ever before—and the results speak for themselves.

Today, Shining Spark mares are not only outstanding individuals, but many have gone on to become million-dollar producers across multiple disciplines. That success was built over time, and it continues to grow. Those achievements have earned Shining Spark the title of #1 all-time maternal grandsire in the NRCHA and #2 in the NRHA record books—a testament to the strength of his genetics, conformation and mind.

As the owner of his semen and the manager of his breeding book, I have consistently invested in recognized incentive programs so Shining Spark offspring and their owners can compete where it matters most and have the opportunity to earn additional money. While I’ve noticed many stallion-farm incentive programs emerging, this is not something I choose to participate in. I believe the incentives already available to Shining Spark offspring are exceptional and offer the most value.

His impact has also been recognized at the highest level. Shining Spark is a three-time Hall of Fame inductee, and he continues to give back to the industry as a corporate sponsor of the NRCHA and the NRHA. Supporting the organizations that support our horses, breeders, and riders has always mattered to me, and I’m proud that Shining Spark continues to play an active role in that support.

Managing Shining Spark remains my number one responsibility—and the best job I could ever ask for. His continued popularity, and the people I’ve had the privilege to meet and work with because of him, have added so much to my life. I am always happy to help breeders understand the advantages and considerations of ICSI and assist however I can with their breeding programs.

If you have questions, please know I’m here to help. In the meantime, let’s raise a toast to Shining Spark—and to an exciting future ahead.
