Today was trash day at the ranch. It’s been so dry around these parts that I’ve been hesitant to do any burning. We finally had some rain the and sleet/snow the past couple weeks and today was the day to let it all go up in smoke.

It was nice to walk out this morning to some moisture on the ground, the crop and pastures needed it.

Magic and Piper are out of quarenteen! They got to go out into the pasture and meet the other mares. We are still working on building Magic's weight back up. She was in pretty rough shape when we got her. Some good green grass should help! Piper enjoyed being able to stretch her legs. 😍

Over the weekend we picked up Magic, a very pregnant mare, who is due to foal anytime now. Fingers crossed that she produces a beautiful baby after the hell shes been through. We don’t know much about her previous home but we know for sure that she is in a great loving and caring home now.
