We were locked out of the account but are back. We are still taking in animals from reptiles to small mammals along with birds. We have just expanded and hoping to be fully non profit 501c3 by the end of March!
At this time we are 98% self funded with a small amount coming in from fundraising from a local business. We are hoping that by the end of the year to fully expand our program to be a rescue and education center to teach others how to care for their animals and how much of a commitment they really are.

Good morning scooter crew. Yesterday was a big day for us. We got a beautiful rescue. 12 snakes rescued from a situation of just bad life circumstances. While it's not easy giving up your babies, sometimes it's the best thing you can do. These beautiful snakes will be checked out and brought up to weight before being adopted out.

Hey scooter fam! I'm currently working on an Amazon wishlist for donations to the rescue. Any help is appreciated. As most people know rescues don't exactly flow in cash and most of the time is outta pocket for the love of the animals. As a small rescue just starting up we don't have a lot of connections like larger rescues do. We rely on help from the public to help. Right now all our rescues will be staying with us as ambassadors due to age and temperaments. Once we get more animals in we will be doing adoption events at local pet stores and hopefully expanding our reach.
As a reminder we do take reptiles from all across the states but due to low funding cannot support shipping costs. Very soon we will be having a fundraiser to help build funds for enclosures and shipping costs so please stay tuned.

As the holidays are upon us, please remember that pets are NOT a gift unless the person is already planning on getting it. They are a long commitment with lots of responsibilities. Many rescues see a huge drop of rate around March when people get tired of their "gift". Please be responsible!

Scooters Reptiles is open for business. We are taking in reptiles that no longer can be cared for. We understand that it's a hard thing to do to let go of a pet but sometimes they outgrow out abilities, time, or even money. At scooters reptiles we will love you pet as much as you did. And while we don't board (yet) we understand things happen. If you've fallen on hard times and need to temporarily release your animal we will take it in for up to 6 months. We also will be selling starter kits that will have everything you need for 1,3,and 5 year setups. All you have to do is buy the tank and adopt an animal.
