We went to attempt to round up the 4 sheep & after three hours & running around a couple acres (in the dark) they are finally caught!!!❤️❤️
They are scared, stressed & hungry. At least one of them is injured. I just don't know the extent of the injuries yet.
They are COVERED in some kind of sticker burrs. So of course we were also covered in them. I will put a close up picture of some of the sticker burrs in the comments so you can see how severe their fleece is matted with the burrs.
Its always a different adventure rescuing our farm pets. They will be here (aka home) soon. Then we can get them healthy, healing & socialized.
Anyone want to volunteer to pick sticker burrs for a hours?🤣

We have two female kittens for adoption. They are both spayed. Let me know if you or someone you know is interested. I will update the post with pictures asap.

We need your help!!! We are asking for donations for a very urgent situation. We try not to ask for donations, but we need a little assistance.
Someone reached out to us because they have been placed in a nursing home. She had arrangements made for her four Katahdin Hair Sheep to be picked up & relocated. There are two adult sheep that this lady had bottle fed & their two babies. She does not have anyone else to help her with this.
Now three months later she is still away from home & found out the sheep were never picked up & they have been fending for themselves. The sheep are located approximately an hour & a half from us. We have to catch & load them. Then get them healthy & up to date on everything. They will need to be secluded from the rest of our Critters until we know they are healthly & ready to join our Critter gang. So that means making a new pen with a shelter, etc for them.
Remember these are her pets!!
This breed of sheep are normally raised for meat. Of course she DOES NOT want them to get in that situation.
Any help is always appreciated! Whether or not you can donate, if you could share this post that would also help!

Did you know there are over 1200 different breeds of domesticated sheep?

One way sheep communicate with each other and their surroundings is through their excellent sense of smell. Sheep have scent glands in front of their eyes and between the digits of their hooves that produce smelly secretions used to communicate with one another!

Did you know sheep have rectangular pupils that allow for a wide field of vision, around 270 to 320 degrees? This allows them to detect predators at almost any direction.

Sheep are highly social animals.

Sheep have very ewe-nique personalities.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to have something like this made asap? (See pictures for references) It would need to be big & sturdy enough to hold a big calf😁.This calf needs to be able to go out four-wheeling😂. It would be even more awesome if we could get one donated. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. You can comment here, message or text me!
