🐓 The other handsome man who knows he is a king, Sampson! This guy has enjoyed being pampered and spoiled, he finally has grown his leg and feet feathers back and he is so Frizzled up that he looks like he is wearing a winter coat! Sampson is a total lover boy too! We have fallen in love with our set of Black Copper Marans! 🐓

🐓 Judah is so handsome and he knows it! He is the sweetest rooster and has the best temperament too! 🐓

🐴Spending time with the horses is a great form of therapy! Just listening to them pick grass and being in their presence releases so much stress. We arent just all about chickens, horses were our first love! Sally is almost healed from her nose injury a few months ago, but no matter what she is gorgeous and she knows it! Magic is just a ham!🐴

🪶 We hatched a fresh batch of Quail! We are adding new colors to our quail hutch! This group will include Progressive Pied, Pearl Fee, Pansy, Brown, and Egyptian colors. A big pro that comes from hatching quail, they are fully grown by 6 weeks of age. A big con that comes from hatching quail, they are a bit more messy than chickens. These are all spoken for at this time, but we will be hatching more before our hatching season is done for the year, so be on the lookout! 🪶

🥚 Egg-citing things have happened this week! We discovered our maran hen Esther's secret nest of eggs! We are so happy she has finally started laying! Pictures with and without flash just dont do them justice, they are very chocolate brown! Soon it will be time to test fertility! 🥚
