Promise we are not lolli gagging around about contacting people for 2027 CT2V events at Von Holten Ranch.

We have changed how we do reservations and have an office manager now. New system, new procedure. We will now have invoices for each event premade, which will make everything easier in the future. Plus, we will know everything down to the penny in advance.

We also now have payment links for deposits if people want them. It is cheaper to pay with a check but faster to use a card.

Tami, the office manager, is coming back over again tomorrow to help chip away at the list of people coming to CT2V next year. Stay tuned. We will announce when we have contacted everyone. If at that time you turned in a form but haven’t been contacted, then it will be time to reach out again.

And the photo is of our freeloading horses getting time off until mid-November while Brandy heals up from surgery.

Congratulations to Tammy Fergerson for winning Cowboy Roulette at the September CT2V event at Von Holten Ranch!

She chose T & D Donkey Rescue to support.

I’m sure you will get a few “heehaws” from some donkeys!

CT2V wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone! What a GREAT year filled with growth!

As we get ready for the 2027 show year, we are busy behind the scenes. CT2V was selected to be showcased at the Michigan Horse Expo with not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE different presentations!

Here is one topic:

Increasing the Safety of Today’s Trail Rider Through Country Tough Trail Versatility (CT2V)

The trail is full of unexpected challenges, but is your horse prepared to handle them? Discover how Country Tough Trail Versatility (CT2V) combines ranch horsemanship, obstacle training, and transitions of speed to develop a solid, dependable trail horse. Learn how to improve communication, build confidence, and prepare your horse to navigate obstacles and situations with greater control and confidence. Whether you ride for pleasure or adventure, these practical skills can help you become a safer, more confident trail rider while building a stronger partnership with your horse.

The Michigan Horse Expo is March 12-14, 2027.

Featured in the photo is CT2V competitor, Janelle Williams.

The link where we will fill out reservations for the CT2V events is in the comments. Once you fill that out, I am sent an email with the answers you selected, and the emails are time-stamped. That is the order in which I fill.

Your deposit will not be due until I am well from my surgery and we contact you. This is just to give me an order in which to contact people.

*If any of your friends don't use Facebook, you can find it on the CT2V website under Upcoming Events, in the State Championship section.

What a wonderful 8th Annual Country Tough Trail Versatility National Championship!

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to the competitors, judges, volunteers, friends, family, and everyone back home who took care of everything!

This is our first year spreading out the national championship in order to accommodate everyone. The 2027 National Championship will follow the same format, but with the addition of three new divisions: Sidekick, Prospect, and Legends.

We will work throughout the fall and winter to announce and explain everything, helping CT2V expand to new hosts, new states, and expos.

CT2V is stronger than ever and has an even brighter future.

Walk through is at 8am

Check out youth competitors, Adalyn and Kyla! They were doing their best at the roping obstacle on the trail.

Our giant hola hoop was part of the Cowboy Roulette! Cowboy Roulette is an extra class where you have no idea what we are going to ask you to do. Winner takes half the 💰 from the entry fees for that class.
