Through outreach and education, we advocate for animals in our community and are committed to bringing about a time when there are no more homeless pets. We believe every life matters.

Meet Kensy!

This sweet 3 year old, 46lbs Belgian Malinois mix was rescued from an overcrowded Houston shelter and is ready for her forever home! She’s spayed, vaccinated, house and crate trained, incredibly smart, affectionate, and loyal once she gets to know you. Kensy is respectful with other dogs, neutral on leash, well-behaved in public, and loves car rides, swimming, and playing fetch!

Kensy needs an active, experienced home with a yard, plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and continued obedience training. A Malinois-savvy adopter who can help her thrive and won’t leave her alone all day would be ideal. She’s a clever girl who can escape a standard crate, so a heavy-duty crate is a must!

Kensy is currently in Houston, Texas, but transport is available to an approved adopter.

Meet Chaparrito (Chapa) 🩵

A volunteer recently had the pleasure of meeting Chapa and can confirm he is a certified GOOD BOY! This 1 year old, 50lb Staffie mix was rescued from a local Austin shelter and has been absolutely thriving in his amazing foster home. He’s smart, silly, affectionate, crate and potty trained, neutered, vaccinated, and full of puppy charm! He loves zoomies outside just as much as snuggling up with his favourite people afterward. He’s food-motivated, eager to learn, and walks beautifully on leash!

Chapa is dog-friendly with proper introductions, does well with children, and has lived with cats (though he may chase if they run). He can be a little stubborn and struggles with some separation anxiety, so he’s looking for a patient, experienced family willing to help him continue building confidence.

Chapa is currently in Austin, TX, but can transport out of state to an approved adopter.

Meet Remy!

This handsome 4 year old, 70lb Rottweiler mix is a resilient, affectionate sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be by your side! Rescued as a stray in Cleveland, Texas, Remy is now living in Colorado and ready for his forever home. He loves walks, car rides, couch cuddles, and simply hanging out with his people. He’s fully house-trained, has wonderful house manners, and does great with free roam when left alone. His separation anxiety has also improved tremendously!

Remy enjoys other dogs and does best with female dogs and well-matched, easygoing males, ideally with just one canine companion. He’ll need slow introductions and time to decompress so his goofy, loving personality can shine. He may pull a little at the start of walks and occasionally jump when excited, but he settles quickly. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, adventure buddy, and professional snuggle partner, Remy could be your perfect match!

Meet Popps!

This adorable 3 month old, 24lb Staffie mix is a silly, smart little guy with so much love and personality to share! After bravely battling Parvo, Popps is now a proud survivor and ready for his next chapter. He loves toys, chase games, zoomies, and watching TV with his people. Although he can be a little cautious with new things, he’s gaining confidence every day and is learning to enjoy affection, especially ear scratches! He loves children, is cat-friendly, and has been wonderful about sharing his food, toys, and space.

Popps is working on his potty training and leash skills, and he absolutely loves his crate! He gets excited seeing other dogs and would love the chance to make some canine friends. This sweet boy is looking for a patient, loving family ready for all the fun, chaos, and rewarding moments that come with raising a puppy.

Meet Maxx!

This 5 year old, 85lbs BEAUTIFUL lab mix is a sweet, goofy boy who loves people, car rides, walks, toys, and belly rubs! He’s fully house-trained and crate-trained, walks nicely on leash, and has a moderate energy level. He’s just as happy exploring with you as he is relaxing at home and soaking up affection.

Maxx enjoys playing with other dogs, especially those his size or smaller, and could thrive as an only dog or with a compatible canine friend. He loves meeting new people, but due to his size and limited experience with children, older kids are best. He also needs a cat-free home. Maxx is looking for a loving family to include him in their daily lives, enjoy walks together, and make room for a big, cuddly best friend. Could Maxx be your perfect match? ❤️

Meet Snicker!

This handsome 1.5 year old Staffie mix weighs 46lbs and is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date on preventatives. He’s a sweet, affectionate, playful guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Snicker is potty and crate trained, walks nicely on leash, does well in the car, loves children, and adores being around his people. He’s also a total cuddle bug who would happily be your little shadow!

Snicker loves toys, wrestling, and playing with other dogs, so he’d thrive with a playful canine companion who can match his energy. He’ll benefit from continued training with leash greetings, settling around unfamiliar people, and learning when playtime is over. Snicker is looking for a moderately active home ready to give him plenty of love, structure, and fun. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate best friend who wants to be part of everything you do, Snicker might just be your perfect match! ❤️

💔 Our sweet Chaparrito needs us.

This morning, Chaparrito unexpectedly suffered a terrifying seizure. It came completely out of nowhere, and now he’ll need extensive veterinary work to help determine what happened and what his next steps will be.

We’re incredibly grateful for every person who has ever supported Chaparrito and our rescue dogs. If you’re able to contribute toward his care, even a small donation can make a difference. And if you can’t donate, sharing his story means just as much. ❤️

Thank you for always helping us show these dogs that they are worth fighting for.

Meet Taz!

This handsome 1 year old Pittie mix weighs around 45lbs and is full of love, goofy charm, and playful energy. He’s crate and potty trained, settles well overnight, and walks nicely on leash (though squirrels are hard to resist!). Taz loves zoomies just as much as relaxing with his favorite people and greets new friends with happy tail wags.

Taz is making great progress with socialization and would thrive with a family committed to continuing his training in a structured, predictable home. He’d be happiest as the only pet, where he can soak up all the love and attention. He currently lives with a young child but can be protective of his toys, so older, dog-savvy kids are recommended. Cats are untested, and car rides can sometimes upset his tummy. In return for patience and consistency, Taz will be a loyal, affectionate best friend!

Meet Peach! 🍑

This adorable 12 month old Lab mix weighs around 35lbs and is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her forever home! She’s a sweet, gentle girl who may be shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her curious and loving personality shines. She enjoys playing with other dogs, relaxing in the sunshine, and getting full-body rubs and yummy treats!

Peach has a moderate energy level, is fully house-trained, crate-trained for up to 6 hours, and is a great car rider. She’s still learning about the world and building confidence with new people, dogs, and leash walks, so a little patience goes a long way. She doesn’t need another dog but would love a furry friend! Her experience with kids and cats is unknown. Peach doesn’t need a perfect home—just a loving family willing to help her blossom.
