The Scaly Snack Shop is now open!!!

🎉In honor of our grand opening and as a thank you for supporting us we are offering a 15% discount on all orders placed through Friday 6/5!

The Scaly Snack Shop is a local, family-owned business in Mooresville offering high-quality Dubia roach feeder bugs for reptiles and other insect-eating pets—without the pet store prices!

Our roaches are gut-loaded with organic vegetables and a custom-made, balanced roach diet because we know that what goes into our roaches ultimately goes into your reptile.

We offer a live arrival guarantee! If you have any concerns with your order within the first 24 hours, please let us know, and we will make it right!

We also offer a 10% military discount as a thank you to our veterans!

The Process:

1. Message us at The Scaly Snack Shop on Facebook to place your order. Let us know your preferred roach size, the quantity needed, and when you would like to pick up.

2. We will confirm your order and your requested pickup date and time.

3. We will send a Venmo request for payment (we can accept cash as well).

4. We will place your order into a cooler on the front porch for convenient pickup at your requested time. (The cooler is not cold; it is simply used to protect the roaches from the weather and sun.)

5. Pick up your freshly packaged Dubia!

6. Like and follow our page for updates or occasional discounts!

Please note that each order is customized and freshly packaged for your reptile. We appreciate prompt pickup at your requested time. This helps ensure the quality of your order. If you are unable to pick up, please notify us as soon as possible.

• Small: ¼"–⅜" 🪳

• Medium: ½"–¾" 🪳

• Large: ⅞"–1⅛" 🪳

Note: Size variation is normal since live feeders continue to grow.
