We are looking for someone with professional grooming experience ONLY. This position is ideal for a groomer who is confident working independently, has strong client communication skills, and is passionate about quality grooming and compassionate pet care.

We’re incredibly proud to announce something close to our hearts! Hund Haus is partnering with FOUR local senior living communities that allow pets to provide pay what you can grooming services to residents and their beloved companions.

We’re starting with nail trim days at each facility, and our first visit is in two weeks!
Providing nail trims first allows us to safely meet each pet, assess their needs, and build trust. From there, we’ll be scheduling return visits for full grooming days… also pay what you can.

No one should have to choose between caring for themselves and caring for the pet they love, and we are so grateful to these facilities for allowing senior's beloved pets to live with them.
Unfortunately their ability to get to grooming appointments is limited or even impossible so we are bringing it right to them!

These animals are their family, and they deserve to be cared for with dignity, too.
This wouldn’t be possible without Christy, the Resident Services Director at the Lycoming County Housing Authority.

Thank you for believing in this and helping us bring it to life. We are so grateful for your support and partnership.

It’s our birthday!! Hund Haus is two years old today!
While I’ve been grooming since 2018 (formally Round of A-Paws) I took this little side gig full time and rebranded to Hund Haus 4/23/24.
Even just one year ago The Safe Haus was, what I thought, a far away dream. I could never have imagined any of this, and I can’t believe I’ve been grooming for 8 years, wow.

I am so proud of this journey and so thankful for all of you!

Does anyone have a contact for the Lycoming Housing Authority? I left a message today but I’m not sure if it was to the right person/place.
I didn’t realize their units allowed pets and a lot of of the occupants struggle to get to grooming appointments. We want to set up there and host a pay what you can day to help them get their dogs taken care of.

Big update from Hund Haus 🐾

While we finish getting our facility ready, we’ll be temporarily operating out of Snyder's Country Pet Food next door!
This means we can keep your pets on schedule, cared for, and feeling their best without any more delays.
But more importantly… we need to give a MASSIVE shoutout to Brett and Amy.

They didn’t even begin to hesitate to open their doors to us so we could keep doing what we do. Because of them, pets are staying healthy, and our clients aren’t being pushed back again, and our team is still able to work and support our families. That kind of support means the world to us, so please, when you stop by for your appointment, take a stroll through their massive selection, pick their brain's about the incredible lines of food they carry, and support their small business too.
We are beyond grateful.

Please come inside the store when you arrive for your appointment! As far as those we had to reschedule during this, you have priority booking, and we will announce when our books are open for everyone else again.
