The saga continues…Coco started a trend and now our other hens seem to be jumping on the bandwagon of adopting Australorp chicks! Coco’s daughter, Hurricane has clearly taken custody of these three ❤️🥰🐣

TURKEY SAVES 85 CHICKS FROM RAVEN!

Meet Coco, our dearest bronze hen. Coco has adopted 85 Black Australorp chicks (juveniles now) as her own.
Moments ago I walked out to a Raven attack, I was just in time. Coco was way ahead of me and had already put 85 chicks in the laying hen shelter and pushed them under the nesting boxes to where they were doubly protected.
The imminent threat has passed, but she’s holding them in, standing in the doorway with one eye on the sky while they play safely inside the shelter. ❤️🥰
