- What is the most unique request you've ever had for a pet's hairstyle?

Cordelia South : Definitely the groom i did yesterday for starting a mullet on a dog! I've had owners ask for mohawks and side-swipe bangs, but the mullet wins.

- What do you love most about working with animals every day?

Cordelia South : I love seeing each different personality and quirks every dog has. But I also love seeing a dog go from shy and nervous to showing its true personality over time. Each dog has its unique traits and discovering them, or being reminded of them, is one of the best things to experience.

✨ Meet the Groomer: Cory ✨

Cory has been grooming for over 8 years, and in that time, she’s built a reputation for blending skill, patience, and creativity to make every pup look and feel their best. With a background in handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments, she prides herself on creating a calm, comfortable experience for every pet in her care.

Outside of the grooming salon, Cory’s life is full of animals—she shares her home with 5 dogs, 1 cat, and 15 chickens! Her deep love for animals is what inspires her work every day, treating each client’s pet as if they were her own.

Cory brings a unique personality to the team that both pets and people are drawn to. Whether she’s giving a pup a stylish trim, a soothing bath, or just a little extra love, Cory’s goal is always the same: to help your furry family member shine—inside and out.

🐾 Fun Fact: Cory’s chickens have just as much attitude as the dogs she grooms—so she’s ready for any sass your pup might throw her way!

Hi there! My name is Caramel! I bet that is because I am a beautiful “caramel” color! I am a three-year-old Doberman mix that was lost a short time ago. I was actually picked up by a nice policeman. He kept me close by and then called the Humane Deputy to pick me up. I waited at the shelter for my family to claim me, but no one ever came. I am now available for adoption. The shelter made sure I had all of my vaccinations, that I had a microchip, and that I was spayed. One little problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive, but I am not worried. The shelter already has my first appointment set up to get my heartworm treatment started! Oh, one thing I need to mention, if you want to adopt me. I would probably do best as an “only” dog in the home. I want all of your attention and love after I move in!

- Do you have any pets of your own? If so, what are they like?

Cozette: I have 3 doggies. One of them is my princess, Daphne. I bring her everywhere and she is very attached to me, the other, Daisy, is very sweet and loves my baby sister but she's very nervous. The third is my boy, Leonidas he's very very cuddly and sweet and loves people

Cozette: The first dog I bathed was this super tiny, like, teacup poodle, sweetest thing ever and I ended carrying her around all day

With a deep love for dogs and an unwavering commitment to service, Cozette is looking toward the future with a clear goal in mind: joining the military’s K9 unit.
