About Konalae Kennels

Konalae Japanese Spitz came to be in 2003 when I adopted my first Japanese Spitz in Hawaii. My breeding program began in 2004 and continues today. I pride myself on improving the breed which to me means I pay attention to the breeding lines way back not just in the parents. I like to ensure my puppies are going to have wonderful personalities and great temperaments, they’re companion dogs and thus they need to be with people. I don’t let my puppies just go to anyone, there’s a process to get on my waitlist and that includes getting to know you.

I love the breed! My daughter Jordan is continuing in my footsteps by beginning her own kennel as well. I’m very proud of her and her foundation she’s beginning. Kailani has been through basic training and she plans to work her up to therapy dog soon! I hope to get her into the show ring :)
