1999 Lovely Quarter Horse mare I showed at the Bennettesville Horse Auction for my friend Roger Starkey. Back then I was a full-time horse trainer and riding instructor. Young and poor. I couldn't afford school horses, so I rode for Roger at the sale while he sold his horses from the floor. This mare was so nice, I hoped she didn't sell that day...luckily, she didn't and I got to barter riding time to pay for her. I named her A Capella. Trainer her through 1st Level Dressage then sold her to a fox hunting friend. Fond memories of this gorgeous girl. - Doc xo
