Lora you are the best girl! Our second trip down centerline at I-1 and a few costly mistakes kept us out of the 70’s, but she was so rideable and with me the whole test. We are now qualified for champs at PSG and I-1. Looking forward to the rest of the weekend.

Another toasty weekend at Dressage at DevonWood I & II!
Lora is now a confirmed I-1 horse! Thank you Thunder Ridge Sport Horses for the opportunity to bring this talented horse up the levels. I am so thankful for this fabulous mare that gives me her all everyday.
Cassandra and Oliver conquered another extremely busy warm up, and are getting more comfortable in the show ring. Even though she thinks sitting should be optional at 2nd, she powered through the trot tour like a champ!
Maggie piloted Fynn around this weekend at 3rd. Fynn threw in some extra party tricks on Friday. Just to keep her on her toes. But was a superstar on Saturday for her eq class, earning them a score of 82%.
Thank you ladies for another fun weekend. I couldn’t do this without you. I appreciate all of your help and hard work. Both at home and at the shows.
And thank you to everyone that supports us from home and holds down the fort while we are on the road. It really does take a village, and I have a great one!

Another successful day! I am so proud of Cassandra and Maggie. Yesterday Cassie was high point amateur. Today Maggie was high point amateur. And Cassie was overall high point amateur for both days combined. They have both been working extra hard at home, and its so nice to see it pay off. Lora and I are figuring out the PSG. Still lots to improve on, but I am so thankful for Thunder Ridge Sport Horses for the opportunity to bring this talented mare along. She tries her heart out everyday, and I am so glad she lets me pilot her around. Thank you to Leigh Cochran for putting this show together. I hope you can finally breathe and take a day off tomorrow! And thank you to Gwen Blake for sponsoring the high point awards! Looking forward to the rest of the season!

Day 1️⃣ at Dressage At Saddlerock. Cassandra and Oliver get the ⭐️ for coming to a new venue and staying calm and focused in both the warm up and the show ring. 💪🏼 Fynn kept Maggie on her toes and tried for extra credit by showing off some tempis in a 3rd level test. 🫣 And Lora was a spicy jalapeno for her 2nd trip down centerline at PSG. 🌶️ Even with some tension, everyone rode qualifying scores, and we know our homework for tomorrow. 📚 Thank you to Leigh and her crew for putting on a show that allows us to come to a new venue. I know putting on these shows is not easy, but we appreciate all you’ve done!

Goals were set and achieved over the weekend! Lora stepped in to the FEI ring for the first time, Cassie conquered the warmup ring and completed her first 2nd level class, and Maggie earned her bronze medal yesterday! We definitely felt out of practice as we hadnt shown since champs. And we all have homework, as always. But I am so proud of us. And so thankful for everyone that supports us in all the ways. We couldnt do this without you, and I am so thankful. ❤️
Also a huge shout out to everyone at Whidbey Equestrian Center. Thank you for hosting another well run show, and allowing us to spend the weekend at your beautiful farm. You guys are the best! Looking forward to the rest of the season!

New Balance Training will have an opening for a training horse or lesson client May 1st. Fabulous private facility in Monroe, located minutes from downtown. Large covered arena with premier footing that is maintained daily, 12x12 stalls with 40’ runs, all day mud free pasture turnout, horses fed alfalfa and/or grass hay, haystack grain, and owner provided supplements, heated tack room, and hacking trails on site. Fabulous care, owner and caretaker live on site.
Training programs are tailored to suit individual needs and goals. All ages and levels welcome. Also open to bringing on a horse that could be leased and used as a school horse as we have a waitlist for lessons. Please visit www.newbalancetraining.com or PM for more info.

New Balance Training will have an opening for a training horse or lesson client April 1st. Fabulous private facility located in Monroe 5 minutes from town. 12x12 stalls with attached runs. All day pasture turnout. 75x170’ covered arena with Premier footing. Heated tack room. Grass and/or alfalfa fed 3x/day. Owner provided supplements fed 2x/day. Small trail system around property. Offering full or partial training, as well as weekly lessons. Fun, supportive barn environment that focuses on correct horsemanship and dressage theory. Many references.
