👻 Friday Facts – Halloween Edition! 🎃🐾
Spooky season is here, but the only thing we want to scare away this Halloween is pet trouble! 😱🐶🐱
💡 Fact:
Chocolate, xylitol (found in sugar-free candy), and raisins are all major no-no’s for pets so keep that trick-or-treat stash out of paw’s reach! 🍫🚫
💡 Tip:
• Keep candy and wrappers up high
• Be cautious with costumes make sure pets can breathe, move, and see comfortably
• Watch those open doors, extra visitors can mean extra escape chances!
• If your pet gets nervous around spooky sounds or costumes, make them a cozy “safe spot” away from the action 🧡

Since it’s National Pet Wellness Month, now’s a perfect time to make sure your furry friends are getting the care they need to thrive.
💡 Vet Tip:
Keep their weight in check! Just like us, extra pounds can lead to extra problems.
Dental health matters. Good teeth = happier eating, fewer long-term issues.
Movement counts. Whether it’s a brisk dog walk or a laser pointer for the cat, keep them active. And don’t skip that wellness exam at the clinic, catching things early is always better.

We started Vet Tech and Assistant Week off last night with a fun, relaxing night of pumpkin painting and carving. We are so grateful for each and every one of these ladies. They are compassionate, loyal, loving, and committed to providing the absolute best care to our patients and clients. If you are at the clinic for appointments this week, make sure you thank the Vet Techs (Rachael, Kelsey, Emily, Montana, and Brooke) and Assistants (Carolyn, Mel, Sarah, and Bobbi) for all they do for your pets and livestock.
