I purchased this harness to help solve the pulling and choking problems I was having with my puppy. The harness has nearly solved both issues. Moreover, the lightweight design makes the harness a good choice for our hot NC weather. I also like the magnetic hasp, which makes it easy to put the harness on a wiggly pup without fumbling. Finally, I have to mention the great customer service. My pup somehow dragged the harness into his crate, and they were able to get me a replacement right away.

Josie is part Husky, German Shorthair and American Bulldog, with the emphasis on Husky, she was born to pull! Josie's 4 years old, I've spent a lot of time working with her, using treats while we walked, stop'n goes, turn-a-rounds and changing direction in order to get her to walk with me, without pulling. For the most part she has learned and does walk with me, but not my wife. So we thought we'd try this "no-pull" Hero Harness. My wife took her on the first walk with it. I sent her a text asking her how's it going, and her reply was; "Fabulous"! I don't know what makes this no-pull harness different from others we've tried, but this one works! I'm using it on our walks and will have to admit, Josie's never been easier to walk. Thanks for a great product!

I recently purchased a Hero Harness for our pup, and loved it so much I decided to buy the Hero Collar as well. I am extremely happy with this purchase! The webbing is made from the same ocean-bound plastic as the harness, and the magnetic buckle is the same. I just love this buckle - no other harness or collar I've used has been as quick to put on and take off, or as secure, as this one. I posted an initial review of the Hero Harness shortly after we started using it. We were very impressed then and are even more-so now. We use our harness every day, across a wide range of locations and conditions, from "formal" walks through town to more casual strolls in the woods. The difference in our dog's behavior from her old flat collar (used alone) to the Hero Harness is like night and day. She has come to associate the harness with "working" and behaves accordingly, heeling better and rarely pulling. Not bad for an 11-month old high-energy cattle dog mix!

As far as the harness design and construction is concerned, the more we use it the more we like it. In the past, our dog has balked at putting on a harness but she is quite happy to wear this one. Its simple design and the quick connect magnetic buckle make it a real breeze to use; we put it on and are out the door quickly and without fuss, every time. So many other harnesses we tried had awkward buckles or unnecessary padding that made them cumbersome to put on and uncomfortable to wear. Happily the Hero Harness is different on all counts. It really is a treat to find a product as functional and well-made as this, and we cannot recommend it (or TheDawgPack) highly enough!
