🚨🐾 Byllesby Dryland Derby – Don’t Miss It! 🐾🚨

Get ready for the fastest paws on wheels! The Byllesby Dryland Derby is back, bringing the thrill of dog-powered racing to Lake Byllesby Regional Park on October 18–19, 2025.

Watch incredible canine athletes and their humans fly down the trails with bikes, carts, and scooters, or join in the fun with your own four-legged friend. Then stick around for the canine weight pull, where determination and teamwork take center stage.

Calling all mushers and their canine athletes! Join us at beautiful Lake Byllesby Regional Park for the Byllesby Dryland Derby — Minnesota’s dryland mushing event!

Congratulations to all the dogs and the handlers who came out for day one of Fluffy Butts Hefty Haul Spring Weight Pull 2025. It’s not often we have one match, let alone two, where every dog successfully pulls!

In the first match, Gator the GSD x took Most Weight Pulled by pulling 1494 lbs, RoadRunner the Australian Shepherd took Most Weight Pulled Per Lb, pulling 29.17x her body weight. The second match saw RoadRunner again take Most Weight Pulled Per Lb and setting a club record by pulling 32.47x her body weight and Enya the Yakutian Laika pulled 1570 lbs for Most Weight Pulled.

A special shoutout to Jett the Sibe mix and Gator the GSD mix, both foster dogs who showed off some impressive skills.

The weather is looking spectacular for Fluffy Butts Hefty Haul Spring Weight Pull 2025 this weekend. There is a chance of rain on Sunday. Just a reminder, our chute will be under a pavilion but there will be times when participants will still be exposed to rain!

Get ready for a tail-wagging good time at Fluffy Butts Hefty Haul Spring Weight Pull 2025 on April 12th-13th, 2025, at Booster Park in East Bethel, MN! It’s your dog’s chance to prove they’ve been working on their strong dog game pulling weights!

We’re featuring FOUR W3PO-sanctioned weight pull matches, so whether your dog is a seasoned pro who moonlights as a semi-truck or a newbie still figuring out how to pull, there’s something for everyone. And yes, all breeds are welcome—your pug, your Great Dane, even that dog you’re not quite sure what breed it is.

Entry fees are just $25 per dog per match, and we’ve got discounts for novices and junior handlers (because who doesn’t love a bargain?). The fun starts at 10 AM, with weigh-ins from 9:00-9:45 AM. Don’t miss out on your dog’s chance to show off their muscles and possibly become the next canine weight-pulling superstar.

Don’t forget, Rustic Acres Pet Treats will be there to help you find a nommy treat because good dogs deserve treats!​
