We’re SO excited to invite you all to the Fluffy Butts Dog Expo 2026. On April 25–26, 2026, come out to Booster Park in East Bethel, MN, just 30 minutes north of Minneapolis.

Join the Twin Cities Dog Powered Sports Club for a spring celebration of dogs, community, and everything in between.

Here’s what’s in store:
✅ Four W3PO sanctioned Canine Weight Pull matches featuring the Fluffy Butts Hefty Haul, enter your pup to win prizes, earn titles and earn an invite to Summits.
✅ Local vendors selling Minnesota-made dog treats, gear, bandanas, apparel & more
✅ Saturday BBQ by Chef Earl & Felicia, famous for their signature spice rubs and sauces
✅ FREE admission for spectators, leashed pups welcome!
This is a wonderful event for the whole family (fur babies included). Come cheer, shop, eat, and celebrate the amazing dogs in our community!

Less than two weeks till TCDPS joins CopperDog in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to host some competitive weight pull between races. We hope you can join us!

While our distance races will be in Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor, the George Gipp Recreation Area & Ice Arena in the Village of Laurium will see;

Twice on Saturday and once on Sunday, the Twin Cities Dog Powered Sports Twin Cities Dog Powered Sports will host the CopperPull - a World Wide Weight Pull Organization-sanctioned event!!!

On Saturday the recreation area will also see the CopperDash - a 75-foot sprint for the younguns; which are welcome (and ENCOURAGED) to bring their own dog to race!!!! Sleds and harnesses will be provided! Don't have a dog? Fear not, we'll have some available from CD Kennels Malamutes & Rescues -&- Twin Cities Dog Powered Sports! 😀

Want more??? The warming area for the ice arena will be open during the weekend with FREE Open Skate and Concessions available as well!!!! Awesome or what??

Public Skate at the Gipp will be from 9 AM -to- 8 PM (Saturday & Sunday). Skate rentals for $2; available in all sizes! They will also be selling hot pasties from Jen's Kitchen!!

And not forgetting as well that the 10-dog CD120 will be finishing at the recreation area starting about mid-day on Sunday as 30-or-so teams make their way from Copper Harbor on the third and last leg of our longest race!

⛄️ Event Update ❄️

Unfortunately, Wausau Winter Fest has been canceled. We know that’s disappointing news and appreciate everyone’s understanding.

The good news? 🎉 Scandia’s Vinterfest is STILL ON! Bundle up and come meet some of the dogs of Twin Cities Dog Powered Sports on January 24th, from 1-3 pm at the Gammelgården Museum.

We hope to see you in Scandia! ❄️🎊

With the current conditions, there is a strong possibility that Wausau’s Winter Fest may be cancelled or rescheduled. We know how much everyone looks forward to this event, and we appreciate your patience as final decisions are made.

However, Vinterfest is a go! Bundle up and join us for one of Scandia’s favorite winter traditions! Vinterfest is packed with winter fun, small-town charm, and activities for all ages. Come enjoy the frosty air, meet our sled dogs, and celebrate everything we love about winter in Minnesota.

Bundle up and bring your team out for a snowy day of dog-powered fun as we have TWO upcoming events in January, both on the same day.

❄️🐕 Scandia Vinterfest🐕❄️

Once again, we are invited to do meet and greets with the kids at Scandia's Gammelgarden Museum in MN on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 1 pm to 4 pm. There will be an option to give a very short rides around the baseball field.

❄️🐕Wausau Winter Fest followed by Kid's Meet and Greet🐕❄️

We are bringing weight pull back to Wausau! Join us Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Marathon County Park, Wausau, WI for a W3PO sanctioned weight pull on snow. Weight Pull Weigh-In & Entry: 8:00 AM, Pull Starts at 9:00 AM. There will be one match only!

Kid friendly dogs are invited to stay after the pull for meet and greets! A short track will be laid out for teams who want to give rides!
