Hey everyone! I wanted to hop on here, say a few things, and reintroduce myself since we’ve gained so many new followers recently.
My name is Megan, and I started this page in November 2025. We already have over 600 followers, which honestly blows my mind. I never imagined it would grow this much. Since starting, I’ve been able to help over 30 families, and that’s all because of the shares, support, and kindness from you all. Thank you so much.
A little about me: I’m a mom to a crazy little boy and have stepchildren as well. We also have 6 dogs, 2 cats, and 5 fish. Life is loud and chaotic, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I worked as a veterinary assistant for over six years before deciding to stay home with my little guy. I still wanted to stay in the animal field, and helping animals has always been a dream of mine. My ultimate goal is to one day start an animal rescue or daycare. I also animal sit on the side.
Now for the nitty gritty. I know some people aren’t happy about the rules that were put into place. Please remember that this pantry runs entirely on donations and my husband’s and my own money. Right now, cat food donations are very low, and I’m hoping that improves soon. I’m also the only person running the pantry, so I’m not always able to respond right away. Between my son and home life, I’m not on my phone constantly, but I promise I’m doing my best.
If you ever have questions, concerns, or suggestions, please reach out. I’m very open and happy to communicate.
One more thing I ask: if you message me and I set food aside for you, but you end up not needing it, please let me know. I put names on items and make sure they’re saved specifically for you. I ask questions for a reason, so I can make sure I’m giving enough food to last until you’re able to get more. Also, if we schedule a meetup and something comes up, please let me know. I use my gas, my time, and schedule things in advance.
