🚨 We Need Prayers, Positive Thoughts and a Miracle 🚨
Today has been one of those days that reminds us exactly why we do this work and why we can't do it alone.
We just took in our second emergency kitten of the day and this tiny baby is in critical condition. The odds are not in its favor, but if there is one thing rescue has taught us, it's that miracles happen every single day. We've seen the impossible become possible before and we're praying with everything we have that this little one writes another miracle story.
This sweet kitten was found alone in a basement by a concerned Vineland resident. They did exactly what they were supposed to do. They called for help. A police officer responded and attempted to assist while waiting for Animal Control. Unfortunately, Animal Control never arrived.
The citizen then transported the kitten to a local veterinary office where they were ultimately directed to call Village Trappers.
And so here we are.
Providing emergency supportive care. Fighting for another fragile life. Trying to be the safety net when there isn't one.
But this is also what happens when animals become collateral damage in a broken system.
When there is no shelter contract in place, vulnerable animals fall through the cracks. Citizens are left scrambling. First responders are left without solutions. Local rescues are left trying to absorb the burden.
We are a small, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization. We receive no government funding, no municipal funding and no public dollars. Every rescue, every medical bill, every bottle of formula, every emergency like this is funded entirely by donations from people who care.
We are deeply worried that this is only the beginning of a growing crisis.
Tonight, we're asking for two things:
Please send all the love, prayers, positive thoughts and healing energy you can for this tiny fighter.
If you're able, please consider making a donation to help us cover the cost of this kitten's care and the many others who will need us in the days ahead.
Every life matters.
Every donation matters.
And right now, this little baby needs a village.

We'll share updates as we have them, including information about the other kitten we took in today after being found abandoned in a Vineland park.
Please keep them both in your hearts tonight. 🐾
