We are so proud to celebrate Morgan, one of our amazing receptionists, for officially completing the entire Dog Handler Academy! 🐾🎓👏

Morgan has worked her way through all six courses—101 through 601, finishing with Playgroup Management! Each course has helped build her knowledge in canine behavior, safety, handling, communication, and proper playgroup management—all skills that help us provide the safest and best possible care for the pets entrusted to us. ❤️

We’re incredibly proud of the time and effort Morgan has put into continuing her education. Even though you usually see her smiling face at the front desk, there’s a whole lot of dog knowledge behind that smile! 😉🐶

One of the easiest things you can do at pickup is schedule your pet’s next grooming appointment before you leave! 🗓️

Why do we recommend prebooking?

🐶 Get the days & times that work best for YOU. Our grooming schedule can fill up quickly, especially for popular days and times.

🔁 Love having the same day every few weeks? BOOK AHEAD! You can schedule your grooming appointments as far in advance as you’d like! If you know your pup comes every 4, 6, or 8 weeks, we can go ahead and set up those recurring appointments so you don’t have to worry about finding an opening each time.

✂️ Stay on a consistent grooming schedule. Regular appointments help keep coats healthier, reduce matting, keep nails maintained, and make grooming easier and more comfortable for your pet.

❤️ Stick with your preferred groomer. Prebooking gives you the best chance of keeping the groomer, day, and time that work best for you and your pup.

🎄 And then there are the HOLIDAYS… Thanksgiving and Christmas appointments are some of our most requested appointments of the entire year, so those spots disappear FAST!

Our team just keeps learning, growing, and leveling up — and we have THREE more accomplishments to celebrate! 👏💜

🌟 Akeria has officially completed Module 401! She’s been working her way through the Dog Handler Academy courses and continuing to build her knowledge of canine care, behavior, safety, and handling. We’re so proud of the progress she’s making!

🌟 Ava and Morgan have both officially completed Course 501! 🎉 Another big step in their education and another layer of knowledge they can bring into the care of the dogs entrusted to us every day.

Dog Handler Academy goes far beyond simply “working with dogs.” These courses dive into important topics like canine body language and behavior, safe handling, health and wellness, recognizing potential problems, emergency awareness, and providing a safer, lower-stress environment for the pets in our care. 🐶❤️

We’re incredibly proud of Akeria, Ava, and Morgan for continuing to put in the time to learn and grow! 👏

Apparently Lemon thought “paw soak” meant spa day + scheduled nap time. 😂🐾💤

Look at those eyes… girlfriend was about 30 seconds away from falling asleep right there in the tub. 🤣

But her Paw Fizz Soak isn’t just for the pampered-pup experience! 🫧🐾 It’s a great little add-on for pups with paws that need some extra TLC.

Apparently BOTH of my kids got sent to the principal’s office today. 🤦‍♀️😂🐾

📞 Call #1: Refused to participate because something was different and therefore obviously suspicious. 👀 Spent the rest of class nervously judging everyone from a safe distance. Also picked at her lunch because, of course, she’s watching her figure. 💅😂

📞 Call #2: Finished her own lunch, helped herself to her sister’s, and then convinced the teacher she was absolutely STARVING in an attempt to score more treats.

AKA… The Hungry Hippo. 🦛😂

We are so proud of Sherry for officially completing the ENTIRE Dog Handler Academy course! 🎓👏

Throughout her training, Sherry has learned so much about canine behavior and body language, safe handling, recognizing stress and fear, preventing bites and injuries, emergency preparedness, pet health and wellness, and providing safe, compassionate care for every dog who walks through our doors. 🐶❤️

Even though you usually see Sherry smiling at you from our front desk, this training gives her even more knowledge to help keep the pets in our care happy, comfortable, and safe—and we love having a team that continues to learn and grow! 💙

And of course, no graduation photo would be complete without a furry classmate! 😂 Frankie was more than happy to help Sherry show off her certificate and make sure she had the cutest graduation picture possible. 🐾🎓 He looks pretty proud of her too!
