Due to our co-breeder moving off island, we are needing to downsize and retire many of our rats. Therefore we have some rats looking for new homes where they can be well loved by their own family!
Here are a few that may be available pending final decisions this Sunday on which will be staying.
The ones listed together are bonded pairs and must go together. All rats must either go with another rat or to a home that has similarly aged rats already.
All are available on Oahu only, these will not be shipped to outer islands.
If interested in at least 4 rats, I have a Double Critter Nation cage that can be sold at a huge discounted price.
All rats will have discounted adoption fees and will be based on the rats age. For males, if interested in keeping them intact and allowing us to retain breeding rights on them they will have waived adoption fees (this is for a few select males only!), owners would be compensated if they were ever used to produce a litter.
Does:
1. Nohea x Akala Black Variegated Rex. 12 weeks old. Must go to a home that already has female or neutered male rats that are no older than 6 months. *updated pictures coming soon of her*
2 and 3. Noelani (Agouti Marten) and Hani (Black Variegated Top Ear). Both are 15 months old. Must go together.
Bucks:
1 and 2. Haupia (agouti marten silvermane) and Ulu ( Agouti Silvermane) these two will likely stay unless the right home comes up that is willing to give them an amazing retirement home. These two are special needs and will need a single level cage with plenty of fall breakers as they are unbalanced. They are almost 2 years old and are very special to us with the most incredible temperaments. They have been great at raising our baby rats and really love human attention and pets.
3. Hoku (agouti marten variegated) almost 2 years old but in good health
4. 'Uila (agouti silvermane) 1.5 years old. A favorite as far as temperament! Very easy to handle, floppy/snuggly guy.
5. Hekili (agouti rex) 1.5 years old. Brother to Uila but not overly bonded so could go seperately. Another favorite with his confident friendly temperament. He is one of our best rats to bring to events and do barn hunt! Would like to keep breeding rights on him.
6. 'Olu'olu (agouti silvermane berkshire rex) just turned 1 year old. Wonderful temperament. Will likely keep him or his brother Hau'oli or retain breeding rights on one of them.
7. Hau'oli (black silvermane hooded) 1 year old. Brother to 'Olu'olu but can go seperately. May keep or retain breeding rights.
8. Uliuli (black variegated top ear) 1 year old. Reccomend neutering if introducing to new rats as he can be a bully when we have introduced younger rats to him. Confident temperament. Gets along well with Hoku but doesnt have to go with him.
9. And 10. Black Variegated Rex with zig zag blaze and Black Silvermane Hooded Rex. 7 months old. Bonded brothers that must go together. Would like to retain breedinf rights on zigzag blaze boy. Wonderful temperament on both! They are on the smaller side for males.
11. Agouti Marten. 7 months old. Very sweet! Is blind in one eye and limited vision in the other but doesn't let that bother him. Would like to see him go with 9 and 10 or 12 and 13 (or all 5 together).
12. And 13. Double rex agouti brothers (Rufus is the more naked one) 6 months old. Would like to keep breeding rights on Rufus but not a deal breaker. These boys are tiny and adorable!
