💀🐾 Sydney is getting into the SPIRIT of Halloween! 🎃

She's all dressed up and ready for Sunday's BIG Halloween Party celebrating our Riley's Angels Certified Therapy Dog Teams!

These incredible volunteers bring love, comfort, and smiles to hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and so many other places throughout our communities. ❤️

At Riley's Angels, everyone is a volunteer! That means the money we receive through donations and our dog training programs goes right back into supporting the communities we serve.

And while our teams give so much of themselves all year long, Sunday is all about celebrating THEM! 🐾❤️

Because even angels deserve a little spoiling! 😇🎃

New sessions for three of our classes start next week. These classes are intentionally kept small so each dog gets the individual attention they deserve. For information and/or to register for one of the classes below that is starting in just days, please visit our wesite at www.rileysangels.org and send us a message through our Contact Us form. Looking forward to seeing you in class!

Here is a way you can help support Riley's Angels. Our 501c3 nonprofit will be the host for Roll It Forward Rummage Sale on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (July 16-18). Please consider bringing your gently used items to drop off on Wednesday, July 15th from 12-5pm and then come back to shop Thursday through Saturday from 9a-3p. All proceeds during those days directly benefits Riley's Angels and allows us to continue the good work our Therapy Dog teams do in the community. Please share this on your own social media and spread the word! We are so appreciative! (Roll It Forward is located at 11001 St. Rt. 250, Milan, in the Avery Commerce Park plaza across from EHOVE - and right next door to the Riley's Angels Training Facility.)

Dogs don't sweat like we do. The temperature this week is going to be brutally hot and we need to remember that dogs handle heat differently. It's our job to make sure they stay cool and safe. Watch those paw pads on hot blacktop or concrete and keep these things in mind:

Puppies remember best what they learn early. A position statement on early socialization in puppies by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior encourages puppies be socialized before the vaccine series is complete. The guidelines state puppies can start socialization classes as early as 8 weeks of age. Two new puppy classes are starting soon! Jump on our website at wwww.rileysangels.org and complete our contact form so we can save your spot!
