Apparently today is National Spoil Your Dog Day.🐾❤️
Which made me laugh because… do we really need a day for this?😂
My Kona & Hazel have somehow managed to arrange their lives so that they get the best spots on the couch, treats for doing absolutely nothing, approximately 47 kisses a day, and two humans who plan an embarrassing amount of their lives around them.
And I wouldn't change a thing.❤️
As they've gotten older, though, I've realized that the way I “spoil” them has changed a little.
Of course there are still treats and snuggles and letting them take up way more of the couch than two little dogs should.
But it's also paying attention to what I feed them. Adding supplements to support them as they age. Keeping them moving. Noticing the little changes. And doing whatever I can to keep them feeling their best.
Because the greatest gift would be getting as many healthy years with these two as possible.🥹❤️
