🦃 Thanksgiving Eve (Wed 11/26) – Open 4–6 PM
🦃 Thanksgiving Day (Thu 11/27) – Closed
🛍️ Black Friday (Fri 11/28) – Open 4–6 PM

🎄 Christmas Eve (Wed 12/24) – Open 4–6 PM
🎁 Christmas Day (Thu 12/25) – Closed

🎉 New Year’s Eve (Wed 12/31) – Open 4–6 PM
✨ New Year’s Day (Thu 1/1) – Closed

Regular boarding hours apply for all other dates.
Daycare is closed on all holidays.

🎉 HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY, TAYA GIRL! 🎉
Listen… I’m pretty sure she thought the house was under attack when I busted into her kennel this morning hootin’, hollerin’, and belting out the most unhinged rendition of “Happy Birthday” known to mankind.

But once she realized it was just me being… me… she leaned right into it. 😌💕

This sweet, soft-eyed queen is spending her birthday living her best life here at Proper Pup — extra snuggles, extra snacks, and zero apologies for waking her up like a Walmart greeter on espresso.

Here’s to 8 years of being adorable, dramatic, and absolutely perfect.
We love you, Taya! 💜🐾

Proper Pups & Pastries: Class #1 is in the books! ☕️🐾
We had such an incredible turnout — confident pups, curious owners, and a whole lot of learning (and tail wags). Thank you to everyone who came out and trusted me with your morning. 🧡

Huge shoutout to Dog Theory University in Batesville for letting us use their amazing space.
This town will always feel like home, and getting to bring real, structured dog socialization back here means everything to me.

Eight years.
Eight years of muddy paws, midnight potty breaks, training breakthroughs, tearful goodbyes, new beginnings, and more dog hair in my laundry than any human should legally have.

When I started Proper Pup, it wasn’t a business plan… it was a calling.
A “let’s see if I can build a life around the thing I love most” moment. And somehow that moment turned into a full-blown community.

What blows my mind the most?
Some of you have been with me long before Proper Pup even existed.
I met some of my clients all the way back in 2009 at a little kennel in Greensburg, and you followed me through every chapter—every move, every pivot, every mile—until we landed here in Miamitown together.

Your loyalty is the reason Proper Pup exists today.
Your dogs are the heartbeat of this entire place.
And every time one of you tells me your dog drags you up my driveway, or cries happy tears when you pull in… that’s the kind of thing that keeps me going.

To everyone who has trusted me with their dogs over the last 8 years: thank you.
Thank you for showing up, for believing in me, and for allowing me to build this wild, wonderful, chaotic dream of mine.

Here’s to the next eight years—more pups, more memories, more growth, and more love.

It’s going to be crazy cold out, so we’re hitting pause on daycare for the day to keep everyone safe, warm, and snuggled up where they belong. 🐾💤
