It is safe to say Annie is settling right into her foster home!
1,366 days in rescue and counting.
Annie is a spayed, 3Y10M old, dwarf / dutch mix. She has spent her ENTIRE LIFE in rescue, moving between foster homes while waiting for her forever family to find her. After spending almost a year in a group foster home, Annie has upgraded to an amazing individual foster home where she can decompress and shine.
This foster placement is only temporary though, so we are hoping to find Annie a longer-term foster or, even better, her forever home before April or May!

Annie’s mom gave birth to a litter of 7 babies under an unsuspecting families porch. Without intervention, their chances of survival were slim due to disease, parasites, predators, and cars.
Thankfully, this family chose to bring them inside and reached out to Penny and Wild Smalls of South Florida for help. Just a couple of weeks later, we were all in for another surprise when Annie’s mom gave birth to a SECOND litter of 5 babies.
Did you know: Rabbits have a uterus with two uterine horns, which allows them to carry multiple litters at the same time in separate compartments.
Until last year, Annie was bonded with her sister Clara but in 2025, the sisters had a falling out and were separated. Annie would be a great candidates to bond with a mellow middle aged hus-bun!
