This is what makes the reptile and exotic community so awesome. Different breeders. Different specialties. Different passions. One community.
At the end of the day, this hobby doesn’t have to be about competition. These aren’t just vendors lined up against each other — they’re neighbors, friends, fellow keepers, creators, breeders, and small businesses all helping this community grow.
Every table has a story behind it. Countless hours of feeding, cleaning, breeding, building, creating, learning, educating, and caring for animals that we’re all passionate about.

🦎 WE DON’T HAVE COMPETITORS — WE HAVE A COMMUNITY. 🐍
At Fangs of the Forgotten, we’ve never looked at other reptile keepers, breeders, vendors, or small businesses as competition.
We see neighbors. Friends. Fellow keepers. People who love this hobby just as much as we do.
This hobby is big enough for all of us.
Someone else making a sale doesn’t take away from our success. Another breeder producing an incredible animal doesn’t diminish what we’re building. Another vendor having a packed table is something worth celebrating.
Because when one of us succeeds, the hobby grows.
More people get educated. More families discover these incredible animals. More responsible keepers enter the hobby. More small businesses get supported. And most importantly, more animals receive the respect and proper care they deserve.
We’d rather shake hands than throw elbows. We’d rather share knowledge than guard it. We’d rather send a customer to another trusted vendor than make a sale on an animal that isn’t right for them.
There’s room at the table for all of us.
We may have different logos, different tables, different specialties, and different ways of doing things — but we’re all part of the same reptile community.
So support your local breeders. Support your reptile shops. Support the vendors beside you. Share their posts. Celebrate their wins. Learn from each other. Help the new keeper standing next to you.
