I just wanted to share a short video of part of my pooch room. This is where all my dogs crates are located, where they eat and where some of them sleep. Behind the sliding door is where the bathing/grooming station is and also storage and behind the exterior door is their massive fenced in play yard and pool lounge. We do have an Outdoor building with indoor/outdoor runs, infloor heat and AC, equipped with a quarantine area, but it is only used when absolutely necessary. I do NOT like nor want my dogs in an outdoor building. I have always felt that dogs need to be apart of their family. French Bulldogs even more so. They exist for their people and that is where they want to be at all times. They deserve nothing less. I will however be sharing a video of our building for everyone to see also. I have always been about transparency here, but I do highly value my privacy as well. I am a bit of an awkward individual around people in person. π Humans make me nervous. That is why I chose to live my life surrounded by furry family. I just wanted to share some inside looks here on this page as I know there is much insinuation and speculation surrounding breeders as a whole and for good reason, as there are many out there who shouldn't have the privilege of having dogs in their life. We are not big breeders here. I have always valued quality over quantity therefore I do not produce many litters. I have always used a waiting list because of this. My dogs are my family first and foremost. I am multiple generations into my program and I always focus on keeping my own productions vs buying someone else's. That said, we all need to outcross at some point. I am very particular in the type of dog I breed and I feel the consistency in my program shows just that. Type, conformation and health are all very important. That said, I don't fall victim to all the health test fear mongering either. Health testing is a tool, not a guarantee. It is an educated guess at best. Most of the diseases on the French Bulldog health panel today don't even apply to our breed, but they generate constant income, so they will never be removed. I have been around since before all of the health testing became so widely pushed. I study what is infront of me daily and I understand the lines I created. I like to wait much longer than most to breed the dogs infront of me, so I know more so what I have. Time is the true testament in my humble opinion. I am a massive germaphobe (with good reason, I promise) so I spend most of my time cleaning and disinfecting and I have a very strict policy in place to try to ensure the safety of my crew. The well being of everyone here is of my utmost top concern at all times. Due to my health, it has been three VERY long years since I have had a litter. Now that we have finally found answers as
to why, my goal is to change that very soon! I plan to have a couple litters later this year. My Girls here just cycled, so come Novemberish I expect to breed. In the meantime I may have a couple of puppies available from Girls I placed in co-own homes. We were forced to place a few of our cherished furmembers in co-owns and fosters for the time being while our home is under remediation. I have been involved with this breed for approximately 10 years now. I look forward to starting my program back up soon and I hope that you might follow along with us. For many years I used my personal page to share my dogs, but I intend to use this page instead from here on out. If you made it this far, thank you for listening to this long winded, middle aged, doggy crazed lady and my re-introduction to those who may not know me from my original page. I hope to see you around!
